your accent

sami - cant really imagine an accent but imagine a sweet/quiet voice.:

Sweet and quiet - change that to loud with a big gob, but still nice, and you've got me! I'm from Milton Keynes, born and bread, so I haven't got much of an accent, although DF thinks I sounds like I'm from Barnet (londoner) sometimes :? I laugh quite a lot and am quite daft, but quite a serious person when i need to be, and a bit stubborn. I'm lovely really!

ask BubbleOne or Ragna (if she ever sorts her internet out), they have met me! Oh and Minikins, you could ask her too.

I don't think I imagined you as a geordie ToriElla, kind just a nice sweet voice too, with maybe a tweak of an accent?

i dont really have an accent or dont think i do but ben would argue i sound a bit cockney at times! I was born in london but moved to peterborough when i was 6 before that we moved around cause my dad was in the army. the peterborough accent is a bit common because we're only an hour or so from london and a lot of londoners relocated here when some large companies including the one i work for moved here becuase its cheaper.

my dads from pelton in county durham but you wouldnt know it he has totally lost his accent

Devonian. I don't notice it, but I do get picked up on it sometimes. Don't sound thick or anything (I hope!)

Im form Dorset, and EVERYONE says I have a thick, broad Dorset accent. Personally I dont notice it myself, its a shame these forums dont have a section to add voice clips and you could all hear my Dorset twang lol.

Brummie all the way for me! Probably just a hint like Urchin though since people always imagine our accent really strong!

Can sound Scouse when arguing as I spent many a year there and OH is a Scouser, but it only comes out when I'm feeling aggresive! :x

I am from Stockport in Manchester, i don't think i have an accent but Kim says i do!! Don't know what it is though.

Kim does have a strong Hull accent, i spent most of saturday night saying "Ay?, what did you say?!!" But i supposed hats what you get if you live in one place for a long time!

Yvonne has a manchester accent, it's not strong but it's there!! I hate my accent, does anyone want to swap?? lol

Yvonne my OH is from Glossop which is 20mins away from Stockport, he has a strong accent. Bit messed up Manc sounding tho!! Maybe cause he's slow!!

Im from Scarborough but live in Hull and have lived in Liverpool and OZ, but it is still a good ole northern accent!!
OH takes the pi*s a lot at some of my sayings like..... 'plaaarrster' not 'plaster'
My dad is a proper yorkshire bloke, eee byyy gum and all that lol, he used to really enhance it when friends from school came round
Hull is a real funny accent, and when you know it you can tell it a mile off lol, Kim's is very northern, but not broad Hull (well, compared to some of the folk here in 'Ull!!)

I'm from the borders of Lancashire, Cumbria and Yorkshire so my accent is a mix of all 3, a bit non-descript, but northern. :(

hello arreetmarra, oostvajarrn? I'm from Cumbria so you might understand our stupid slag.
I dont think we have an accent but if we do it's just plain simple COMMON!

Deeks yon charver gan fer is peeve, pure radgee, tidy bewer mind. Ladgeful when y gotta yowp ower t'yat t get t parney only t get welted by chore! Y'arlreet marra? *bowk*

Hearts, something about getting pissed, a fit lad, jumping over a gate and being sick? My g grandad was a farmer up near penrith, he'd say something, we'd all sit there and ten minutes later work out what he was on about. It's donkeys years since I heard anyone talk like that though

Nowt wrong wi' ee bar gum hels - if I want to make my accent stronger it goes Yorkshire.

Where does watter instead of warter come from for water?

Iiii Lass, we like watter in Yorks! cold not yaht, My dad wears bee-ats not boots, eeeeiii i could go on, but ill show me up!!!!

I originally come from the south west so I should talk with lots of oy oy oy sounds (oi cam from Brissol). However, for some reason my Mum has no accent and I sound like her. People think I'm posh when I talk which is hilarious because I was brought up in a council house without 2 pennies to rub together

eeeee, narse bit o cold watter gores a lon waaay when thaz fusty
