The thing is though nowhere in my first posting does it say anything about whats been argued about, lol I just wanted some imput from other breastfeeding mums about the stick we get too.

In noway was it aimed at anyone else, it was just between other breastfeeding mums who have been thru similar things.

I was only expecting answers from bfing mums as they understand, which is why I dont understand how its come to all this sillyness

Tash though I have to say that you were expecting answers from breastfeeding mums about the stick you get, please realise that bottle fedding mums in my opinion get treated worse, almost second class! I can say that 90% of the people who used to stop me in the street to have a nose (and there was alot) all alkways said "awww are you breastfeeding?" to my reply being no, theres in answer "you do realise it is BETTER for them" so please dont make the mistake thinking that breastfeeding mums are the only ones who get stick, we all do, comes with the territory!

My mum bottle fed all of us and my little brothers and sisters, she didnt give 2 whatsits what people thought ( always had her nose in the air my mother!) it wasnt for her either, and shes very supprised I have and am still doing it.

I understand there is stick, but I was just reaching out to other bfing mums who have been thru the same thing, maybe I should of had a diffrent title but as im the same as dionne if it aint relevent to me I dont answer nor get involved.

I know what you are saying Tash - but as replies have suggested all mums regardless of how they have fed their babies have been subject to some criticism. And I thought that this is what your topic was about - that people should mind their own business about how you feed your baby.

This is such an emotive topic and always causes strong reactions as seen by number of replies.
