Hi Lara - not feeling so positive this morning, I've woken up with stomach ache and feel very bloated. I think AF is probably on its way I do sometimes get sore boobs but not as much as this which is why I thought it was a positive sign.

Not sure whether to test today or tomorrow - I might test tomorrow if AF hasn't showed up.

Sleeping in my bra for comfort so boobs still sore but I think as you get nearer and nearer to testing time it starts the doubts.

Next couple of days will be hard not to early test. I'm determined to wait and just see if AF comes but my luteal phase is 16-17 days long so it seems like forever! X

Hi lara,

I've been feeling positive this cycle too. I'm now 2dpo, my ticker is out, only early days. I don't feel like i have achieved my goal, but i've had a relaxed cycle. Only used my monitor to track ov, and only had sex 3 times in fertile window! It'll be a nice surprise if i do end up pregnant but i wont be dissappointed if i'm not either. I think i'm passed caring, but not in a bad way! Just in a what will be will be way....If that makes sense.

Any how, good luck for the rest of this cycle, and i hope it brings you your BFP! x X x

No i am not on clomid hun, ive been to docs and they have said my bloods are normal and so they are going to test hubbys SA but around my way they dont offer any more tests or help till we have been ttc for 2yrs.

So gutted today its so unfair i so want to be a mummy. Oh well i suppose i need to stop sulking and just look to the future.

Hey Lara I'm not entirely sure what cycle I'm on to be honest. We've been ttc for 2 years 5 months, so I'm on cycle 29 give or take a cycle! Lol

Suppose that explains why I'm not as frantic as before, been at it too long!

My luteal phase is usually about 9 days so in theory I should get AF tomorrow or Wednesday - to be honest I really don't know if I will get a positive or not when I test lol. One minute I think I am in with a chance and the next I talk myself out of it, putting my symptoms down to the approaching arrival of AF! But, my boobs are still really uncomfortable and feel really heavy today. We have been trying since February so this is my 5th cycle (I think). Wow, you have a long luteal phase - I would be pulling my hair out at the long wait lol. FX you get your BFP, and to all the other ladies here TTC xxxx

Hey Emma ~ well my journey is hard to track. First miscarriage was 10 years ago but unplanned with an x partner. Then NTNP from when I got married three years ago. But with pcos so only about 4 cycles in the first year of that! Then a miscarriage in 2 years ago but then didn't try for a year.
Started trying again six months ago and fell straight away but with a chemical. Since then I've had 4 cycles. This is my 4 th and my first successful clomid cycle. So at least now I'm able to ovulate a bit quicker! It's been quite a journey.
Just hoping that with clomid and with proper ovulation I can make a bean that sticks!
Had all the investigations in January this year - same old same old, bloody PcOS!
What's your plan moving forward? X

Ooh Katkin that luteal phase is quite short. Have you had that checked by the doc?
Mine is long indeed, but not as bad as my wait leading up to ovulation which can be 46-50 days. Shortening it now with clomid and metformin x

Hi Lara - no I haven't mentioned it to my GP but to be honest I really don't have much faith in them after my recent visit. I went to get some advice about TTC and what help I may be able to get from the NHS should I have problems conceiving. It turned out I knew more about the process than she did! She was supposed to be getting back to me a few days later once she found out what help & tests I could have and that was about a month ago!!! If I don't get my BFP this cycle I will make another appt and will mention my short LP.
I hope the clomid and metformin help to reduce your cycle lengths xxx

Don't know how i feel today. May be wrong about dpo think i'm 11 today, not 12 as first thought. So testing fri if af doesn't arrive. I think she's on her way though. Cramping yesterday and sore boobs for 3 days. Am convinced she'll arrive soon. Witch!!

Katkin I've heard some bad stories with gps. At the very least thru can do your day 1-3 bloods and also your day 21 bloods themselves. That can give you a little piece of the story at least.
Crazy cat I know how you feel. You kind of end up not knowing how you feel. I was convinced I was pg two days ago and been in a sports bra non stop since but tonight my boobs feel less sore at 8dpo

Yes i agree Lara, it's a real headf**k sometimes! I did ask at my surgery about day 3 and day 21 bloods but so far I've not been called for them. Next week I think I will try to make another appt if I dont get my BFP. FX you get your BFP soon too xxx

I was soooo positive two days ago. It's weird how that can change. I just sort of feel neutral now!
And I was really positive about some increased cm this cycle but that's now stopped too!

So looks like I could be wrong afterall!!

It's frustrating how much we have to drive the process of checks through the GP? What on earth did girls do a few years back when all this info wasn't online to be able to " inform" the doctors about?? X
