How's every1 doing , please god let us get loads of bfps b4 Xmas !
Iv got my consultants apt 17 oct 2 get my hsg / scan results back and Iv been talking 2 hubby and he's agreed we should try 1 iui so I'm hoping the dr thinks we r ok 2 do it , has any1 got any idea how much it costs ? From what I'm reading it seems 2 b about £1000ish . I think if we do that I can at least say Iv done everything I can and may b il b able 2 let go and accept what will b will b x

Staces, you have got to be right. I can't believe its been 4 months and there haven't actually been that many bfps, makes me feel a bit sad :( but by xmas there will be more sailing to tri 1 :)

Andrea, lovely to see you :) Not long for your consultation, hope it all goes well. That's great that your hubby has agreed to IUI, when I was researching it seemed to be around the £1000 mark. Has your hubby done an SA? I think that's what will determine mostly if they think IUI is a good option xx

Hi Andrea, I'm part way through my 4th iui. It costs £750 + drugs which for me is about £100 (clomid, trigger and progesterone pessaries). I have one dodgy tube and a funny positioned ovary, endo and I'm 38 and hubby has borderline male factor and iui worked first time, unfortunately it ended in miscarriage. We were only going to do iui once and then try IVF but seeing as it worked we thought we'd try a few more - second one didn't work, third was cancelled as I was ovulating from the dodgy side and so I'm hoping for forth time lucky. So even if you're not text book candidate it's worth a try! Xx

Thanks 4 the info dee , and best of luck with this iui will keep everything crossed 4 u xx
Lissy hubby's had his sa done and it came back fine and I ov ok so I'm hoping I won't need the drugs , feel happier that Iv got a plan , how do u feel about starting the ivf lissy ? X

Its always good to have a plan :)
I feel ok actually, I am scared but we have to try, if we don't we will always wonder if it could have worked. I do feel a bit excited too, I just hope it all works out xx

Lissy that's great , hopefully by Xmas we will have little beans and every 1 else will have 2 do the cooking and cleaning !!!

That would be amazing, my OH does all the Christmas cooking anyway but he will have to fetch me the mince pies and chocolates xx

Ohh lets hope we all have a Christmas bean cooking and we r all being waited on hand and foot :-)

Yay to Xmas bfp's all round.
We certainly need some luck on this thread.
