I will be an absolute MESS if August isn't my month after all. When are you (officially) testing? xx

I know, I keep thinking I'm going to be very down if the predictions aren't correct!

I actually don't know when I'm officially testing....I've put myself down for the 31st Aug, but My cycles aren't that regular and I didn't ov until about cd34 last cycle, but it was cd16 the cycle before that!!!

I'm cd13 today and still low, hopefully I will get my peak next week some time. I have reflexology tomorrow and she can sometimes make it happen for me.

We are on holiday week of the 18th Aug, so I'm hoping to do it after then.

Similar to you - supposed to be 31st but not having regular cycles so not sure what's going on and when. I'm taking evening primrose oil to help with ewcm so need to do OPKs to make sure I stop at ov but I'm hoping that I just 'feel' pregnant and my body tells me to test - will defo be towards the end of the month but not sure how long I'll be able to hold out!!! Aaarrrggghhh!!! xxx

Have you been taking evening primrose long? If so have you found it's helped?
I've been drinking grapefruit juice, but not entirely convinced!

We will have to try and stop each other from testing....do you have tests in the house? Can you get oh to hide them?

I took it last month for like a couple of days but lost track of ov so got scared and stopped, but honestly in those two days or so I had frickin LOADS of ewcm (tmi sorry!) so it def worked for me and have started again this cycle.

I have a TON of tests (found a few I'd forgotten about so used those this month so haven't actually touched my official stash since June. Some ICs (can't remember exactly how many) a few FRERs and 2 digis, which I am hoping not to use till I'm 2-3 weeks and then 3+ weeks but we'll see about that! I'm good at wasting cheapies but also pretty good at saving the others so no danger of it costing a fortune till I get a positive.

Will try really hard not to rest early though - we can help each other. Would like to be at least 14dpo ideally xxx

Wow you really do have a lot of tests don't you lol. I have some clear blues but that's it. I feel strangely chilled about this month, but I'm sure that will change after ov lol. Like you I'd like to wait until 14 dpo...we'll see how we get on! X

Yeah you're not meant to take it past ov - there's insufficient evidence about taking it in pregnancy (apparently it can lead to complications) so you need to temp/do OPKs if you're taking it. I wouldn't bother if I had plenty of ewcm naturally but it's virtually non-existent since being on the pill and I distinctly remember it being there before that (many years ago before I knew what it was for!) So you only really need to bother if you're a little lacking in that area...

Haha! Yeah I bought a load of tests right at the start of ttc (didn't want to have to go out and buy them especially if/when the time came) but I've only ever used the cheapies as I haven't ever had two lines. So still have most of the original stash.

Lol I know, mine couldn't even be more different!! And Mary didn't even give me a specific date, maybe it will be a combination of all 3..... always good to have the others to fall back on

Well I'm getting bloody annoyed that this other random one I bought last Friday isn't here yet...she's got until tomorrow and then she's getting a chasing email!

I like to think of this little hobby as a distraction, but actually it's not really is it!? lol we're def all a little bit nuts, but I just think that's a side effect of TTC!

Not a distraction at all really but this is the first time in ages I haven't counted the days during the tww - just kind of expected af to show up and went along with it really, so suppose that kind of counts?! Well ladies, after my last cycle being 49 days I started lightly bleeding last night. This means that there IS hope that I get my BFP In September as predicted though I shall start testing earlier lol I thought I had no chance but literally out of the blue I'm bleeding proper red blood haha sorry for the TMI!
