**The No Sleep Club**

Thanks alot for your support. I'm finding it very hard, but I'm being brave here.
The crying is stopping and starting - he's got his bunny but no dummy! I think he's busy falling asleep now!!!

Time for a rather large G&T.... not

YAAAAAY!
Well done Emilia, I really mean it, it's so hard listening to them cry, and 30 mins is not bad for a first time for him AT ALL!!!!

You did great hun, fingers crossed this is the start of his new bedtime routine!

:D :D :D
I'm beaming!

I hope you had a lovely day out with the family and that you too, have a good night sleep!
Thanks for your encouragement - I appreciate it!

Good luck Beanie and Urchin... oops, mustn't exclude myself.
Hope we all get a brilliant night sleep. :D

Well done Emilia, am going to start this with Seren but not just yet as am too weak. You did brilliantly hun, fingers crossed for tonight xx

I'm a huge softy Beanie. It was awful looking at this lovely wee boy - crying and looking lost. I wondered what was going through his mind - did he feel abondoned...:(
But, it was the right time for me. The bed time sleep got out of hand. He fell asleep on booby tonight and as soon as his body hit the crib mattress..... ching..... eyes open!! I had to do it and my kids were brilliant about it. They kept saying that I was doing great and Oscar will be an angel soon, etc.... really sweet!

Now, must just wait and see what night time waking brings. Dreading it a bit!! :(
Must get some sleep now while I can. :D

Hope you get some sleep Beanie!!
Emilia xx

Well she fell asleep on the boob  and I put her in her crib and she is still asleep. Not got high hopes but we shall see how it goes. Urchin, sounds like Brody is doing well, great news hun xx

I hope so beanie, I think the key point for me last night was:

Last night Brody was in bed at 10, then woke for the first time at 2, I let him cry for 5 mins and I could hear him drifting off again so I let him whinge a few more mins and he went back to sleep!

Will try and keep doing this with him to decide if he's hungry or waking thru habit!

good luck for tonight ladies

YAYYYYYYY....Well done you and well done Oscar.
You have done so well. xxxxxx

Well done Emilia, and Oscar!!

So, talk me through it - he'd had a bath, good feed then swaddle him or just tuck him under the covers? He was fully awake then he cried, you comforted him (picked him up or just patted his tum?) then he cried, you comforted etc until he went to sleep?

Well done!

Brody went down tonight without even a murmur!
He had 4 oz of formula and some boob, then chewed his toes for a bit

Then I put him in bed awake and not a peep!!

Fingers crossed for tonight!

Sounds really promising Urchin.

Olivia went to bed at 8.30 and woke up at 9.30 :wall: she had a bit more food and has just gone down now. I think Olivia is too young for me to do the cry thing just yet (or perhaps just I am not ready to do it yet) because most nights she just wakes up once... but I am keen to get her in the habit of getting herself to sleep as currently she always falls asleep on boob.

Tsk what would the MIL say now

Night everyone!

Lucy

A better night, but not that great!!
Oscar fell asleep shortly after 8pm. Woke up at 11.15pm. I should've left him for a minute, but forgot ..... was a bit sleepy!!
I fed him for 15minutes... back in crib - all hell broke loose!! Took him into bed and we tossed and turned all night!!

I have to continue putting him to bed awake. I'm going to try it during the day aswell. I'll have to tackle the night time feeding another time - over school hols I think!!

I think you've cracked it Urchin!! :D
Lucy, yes... boob, bath, swaddle, boob & bed.....

Hope you've all had your "beauty" sleep!!!!
Emilia xx

Awww not so great after all with Brody.

He went down at about 9, woke at 12, 3, 5, 7, 9 so back in the same old routine again.

At least every time I leave him a few mins to see what he'll do, and this in turn wakes him up a bit so i think he has more of a feed before nodding off.

Keep up the good work Emilia, it will pay off in the end!

I was so sure I was going to read a HE SLEPT THROUGH message from Emilia.

Olivia woke at 2.30, 3.45 and 6, then 7 but I re-swaddled her and she slept til 9. She breaks free from the swaddle (she's quite happy for me to swaddle her but during the night comes loose) and then seems to wake herself up with her wriggling).

Lucy

better night here, seren eventually fell asleep at 7.30pm, woke at 1.15am for a feed then slept til 5am. then at 6 and we got up at 8.

Whooo hoo well done beanie and Seren!

There is hope !

Yippeee... well done Beanie & Seren!!
