Machine is fine I retested and got a 24.6 I have been poorly the last few days so maybe it's that. I have just took some insulin to see if it comes down and if not I will be calling the labour ward. Jaxx have you ever had readings that high Hun? X

No never hun! Not even when u was poorly they are figures that type 1's talk of

Hunni, you must call your team first thing and explain and get them to check you don't sit and wait!! You just don't want to be sitting in figures that high for too long. please let us know how you get on xxxx

Hey Amy. Good that you got more insulin. Ig you don't feel like calling the hospital please check your insulin every h until in safe levels and also eat sth like yogurt maybe to prevent hypo.
A value that high will most probably request more insulin during the night to go down. Also put sth sweet near your bed before you go to sleep if hypo strikes and set your alarm at least once during rs night to check your glucose.
Call first in the morning, though probably you should call now me thinks its safer like that.

Thanks girls you are very sweet I am due to check at 10 past. And will set my alarm for to recheck tonight. if it still high I will call labour ward but I'm hoping I'm fussing about nothing. I will be calling the hospital in the morning one way or another x

My readings are down to 7 this morning. I'm hoping it stays down. I'm giving the hospital a call at 9 x

That's a good start. Hopefully it was an one off and they can do sth to prevent it from happening again.
I bet you can't wait for this trouble maker to arrive...

Boiled eggs this morning.
Planing for a low carb lasagna for dinner.
Lunch will be tuna on shredded cabbage and some mayo.
Desert a frozen low carb fruit yogurt Popsicle and some nuts...
I woke up with a cold yet again this morning. Waiting for my glucose levels to go all wrong today because of that.,.

Your levels do rise hun towards the end hope you get sorted x

Misscrazycooki I was under the impression they do rise but gradually as you become more insulin resistant not a rapid sharp rise like that surely? X

I have been chatting to the nurse on labour ward and she put my mind at ease. The fact It's not staying up is good I only should worry if it stays high. Keep an eye on babies movements (she is moving perfectly) it's bank holiday so my consultant is not there but they have put a note on my file for him. I also have the diabetic nurse calling me in the morning.
It was as high a the machine would go hope a warning came up saying extremely high reading over 33.3
But it did go down to 17. I'm trying not to panic until I have a chat with my consultant x
