Hi ladies, I'm 35+5 and had the GTT on Friday due to glucose bring present in my urine at routine m/w appointment + a few other symptoms which I'd been mentioning for weeks. The result came back yesterday as 'borderline' 7.7 (4.3 fasting)
The diabetes midwife at the hospital recommended I eat as healthily as possible and limit my sugar intake, and if there is still glucose in my urine next week I have to go back and repeat the GTT.
I'll be beyond 37 weeks by the time they re-test, I'm concerned that being borderline means they were concerned enough to call and give advice but I've not yet 'ticked the box' to warrant extra monitoring/growth scan etc.
Has anyone else been in a similar position or diagnosed VERY late in the game?
Xxx
