What also interested me was that my hospital can't afford to do tracking scans and only offer them after the 4th round of clomid.

What do they do about multiple follicles then?

Just hope there's no multiples Even though she gave my DH a hard time for saying he'd like twins due to the risk etc. Don't get me wrong she was nice and professional and from what I read online is the top specialist in my region, however I suppose the restrictions the hospital has are shown here with a process like this.

Wow that's worse than the hospital that wanted to make me pay for the scans. Are they going to do bloods to confirm if you ov? We have been told in no uncertain terms no to try before day 12 scan - I also said twins would be great and got a ticking off from the consultant.

It's so random how differently they do things in each hospital!

I've to do 21day bloods and 28day bloods (if no AF by then).

Pleased to say that I have immunity to Rubella so I can have no guilt about starting provera / clomid (DH has only just picked it up today for me!)

Yes our consultant referred to twins as 'the risk of twins'! I'd love them!

I'm on a long haul flight today and on the warnings it said it can cause DVT so thought best to take it when I land! I'm very excited to be in my way to having a period lol, that's karma for all those times I hated them!

Hi ladies. I am now cd1 (at last!) and have my first follicle tracking scan booked for cd10. It was supposed to be cd12 but I am going to be away on a course for a couple of days so has to be a bit earlier.

Has anyone else had a scan this early? Could they see anything? We've been told not to try before the scan so hoping it will give us some answers and we can fit in a cheeky bd before I go on my course!

Yay, that's great news Anna! I had a scan on cd 10 but it was the 50mg clomid that didn't work for me so they couldn't really tell anything to be honest just that I wasn't being over stimulated xx

Yes I had one on day 9 last cycle because they only do them on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays! She could see one large follicle of 18mm which then grew to 24mm over the weekend and then I ovulated on day 14! She also measured the lining which increased over the weekend which was good!

So excited Anna, I did another digi at the weekend and it was 2-3 weeks so I know I'm going to get good news tomorrow, oh just won't truly believe it until the nurse says so is still not wanting to talk about it too much until then. Men! xx

Can't wait to hear! It will be fab to see it in the BFP section too! I think its great for ladies who've posted in there after getting their BFPs very quickly and not been on all these TTC forums to see the signatures of those of us who've had a much longer journey!
