Bella I totally get what you're saying about waiting for 2 days of an entire cycle ... There's also always a weird bit at the beginning of a cycle when nothings happening in the run up to ov and I feel like I don't have anything to add lol. I want to minimise the BDing at the beginning of my cycle this time as last cycle I worried that our 8 night BD-athon lessened the quality/quantity of the swimmers. I don't want to make a BDing schedule lol but I definitely want to try and BD after my pos ov test for at least 2 nights just in case. Prior to that is a bit hit and miss cos I don't know when I'll get my pos ov test.. X

Ye same here...cycle on 50 was 35 days...on 100 it was 36 days so i figure this cycle we dont have to bd quite so early and as often...im also worried his sperm.quality may be depleting by the time i do ov

im cd 4 today so just 2 more says of clomid to go

Just checking in...CD4 today. I think I have finally figured out I have a side effect from Clomid - night sweats! I'd put it down to hot weather previously but it's not so warm now and last night I woke up drenched! It's only taken me 7 rounds to work it out!

I had my IVF blood tests at the doc today (thank goodness the nurse said she'd do them all else the IVF clinic wanted £368!!). It is testing for 11 things and had to be CD 1-5 for LH and FSH. But it's another thing ticked off the list. Just got to get DH to sort his sample now and he has his blood tests on Monday next week. I am getting a wee bit concerned that it might not all be down to me. DH had glandular fever last year and I think that can create fertility problems a bit like mumps :/

Jacq I have the same as you, night sweats but I also get them through the day quite often, my mum is going through menopause and when we're together its a nightmare haha! Good luck with ivf! Xxxxxx

Hey everyone, I'm officially in the 2ww now, ahhh I hate this part of the cycle, it feels like time just keeps dragging! We have bd'd the last six nights and will again tonight just I case, I got a very strong post opk yest so i assume I'm 1dpo today! Xxx

Also just a quick question, do you think I will have a longer cycle this moth seems as i didnnt ov until cd17, I usually ov on 14 nabtualy as i used to have a cycle if 29-30day bu since clomid its been just over 30day!xxx

Hey chaz, I use opks as i ov cd17-18 now I'm on clomid whereas before it was cd14, I just like to make sure so I know I'm deffo covering it! Do you use them too?xxxx

Started spotting again and way earlier than usual (although didn't use opk so no idea when ovulated)

So that's 4 rounds for me and I'm not taking anymore til we see the consultant in oct. am taking a cycle off.

With regards to dpo, I thought 1dpo was the day after your first negative ov test? That's how I've counted it anyways. x

I'm cd8 today, we BDed last night and I'm going to try and BD less at the beginning of the cycle cos I worry about the quantity/quality being affected before ov.

Woop, yay for BDing Bella!

I've found out that my sis is planning to ttc this month, has already seen a nurse and started taking folic acid... I feel a bit under pressure if I'm honest cos I don't know how I will deal with having two sisters preggers together.. Just FX we all get to be preggers at the same time!

No, didn't say a word about next steps. The consultant told me he expected us to fall pregnant and he didn't expect to see us back... Hopefully he is right! X

CD30 and that's me out - started spotting today. Had cramps for the last 4 days which is really unusual for me as I don't normally cramp until AF actually starts. Glad something happened and I'm not having to wait longer and take the provera to start AF this month! Onwards to round 3.
