Thanks girls. Cheered myself up by upgrading my mobile, buying yummy food and a bottle of wine for tonight and lots of hugs from hubby! Wow Bella that is a lot of bfp's! Lets hope it's all of us next month!

Just checking in... CD 9 today. We started the BDing last night 'out with the old' first BD of the cycle! Then we're starting tonight and going for every other night on odd numbered days of my cycle as we need to work around DH's semen analysis appointment. We're not allowed to BD for at least 48 hours before he does that and his appointment is on CD 18 which is a bit annoying as it's slap bang in the middle of key time.

DH said something the other day that was a bit close to home. He said one of his colleagues was going on about buying OPKs and said it was such a chore having to do it on set days, and he said that was awful. Gulp! Sorry honey it just sometimes does feel like that. I said well it can get that way especially when you have been trying so long and have to make the most of fertility drugs to give yourself more of a chance. I felt bad for DH but also wanted to slap his colleague for saying that as she doesn't know what others are going through. I bet she will just fall pregnant first go. Argh!!!! Sorry girls, I think I am just getting a bit more sensitive to it all as the Clomid is all gone and the IVF appointment is only 12 days away.

well girls today we have been ttc exactly 14 months grrrr, i hpe my testing thread is lucky for me! really want my bfp this cycle as its hubbys bday like a week after i test (provided cycles same length as last 2 on clomid)
im cd 8 today and bd'd twice already (both times have been initiated by hubby not me)

im a bit concerned as the last 2 cycles the clomid has givn me very obvious seide effects....this cycle tho im not getting them! i dunno if this is a good thing (in that my system is used to it maybe)....or a bad thing in that its not working maybe.....argh!!!

Bella, I wouldn't look too much into the no side effects thing - I've had no side effects at all and it seems to have done something for me this month. Just keep with the BDing! x

how do you mean hun? did u not ov previous clomid cycles but did this one?

im prob reading too much into it, i just know the last 2 cycles i had really bad hot flushes and headaches...im cd 8 and nothing as of yet....mind u it may be a good thing as last 2 cycles it took a while to ov (which it shoodnt) so maybe its in my system this cycle and il ov a bit sooner

My first cycle I took 50mg and no side effects, didn't ov and the last cycle I took 100mg and no side effects but did. I've taken my first lot of 100mg for this cycle today. Will let you know if I have any side effects. x
 
well my first cycle i took 50mg and i thought i ovd on cd 22 as had v dark opk but as bloods wer done day before it obv didnt show ov....2nd cycle i took 100mg...again cd 21 bloods didnt show ov.....then had more bloods done couple of weeks after but turned out to be day before af arrived so obv didnt show whether ovd or not so im clueless lol
hopefully il ov this cycle as im on waiting list for ivf clinic and wod love to tell them appointment isnt needed

I'm CD 5. I'm supposed to be on 50mg clomid this cycle but I've taken 100mg today...shhhh! I know my body better than the Dr's, I diagnosed myself with PCOS and Endo before they did! Ha ha.

Method in my madness tho....I ovulated on 50mg clomid, but no BFP, on injections before IUI I got to 1 egg at 18mm, and the consultant says I don't ovulate every month, so I've thrown in a 100mg day to give the ovaries an extra boost :)

I wish I had no side effects of 50mg, but I've had my hot flushes, cold sweats and insomnia :eh:

I dont miss the hot flushes and cold sweats!! Hopefully hun you are on track for your BFP now!! xx
 
Hi Chaz, you're just a few days ahead off me. Sounds like you definitely know what's happening with your body! Are you just taking the 100mg for 1 of your clomid days? Fingers crossed for you that the little extra boost helps! x
 
Just sticking my head in to say I have cramps on my left side... I think I'm cd11 so too early for ov but really hoping I ov earlier this cycle! :pray: for a BFP! X

awe fx for you hun, what cd do u usually ov?
i had a stabbing pain in just 1 boob today but not reading into it....i am reading into the fact this is only cycle i havent had clomid sideeffects tho
