Ladies I dont know if Ive asked this but is it true one sided Cramps is a sign or ovulation?

I dont know hun, i didnt get any cramps or pains when i ovulated x

Because I heard and read online that some ladies do get that.

After you ovulated did you cramp afterwards? I been cramping since I had that pain

I had cramps all the way through my 2WW but they were the same as AF cramps. The only way you'll know for definite if you have ovulated or not is by going and getting day 21 bloods done. Or by using OPKS consistently. I didnt temp cos i couldnt get the hang of it x

Well if I ovulated 2 days ago that would make me 2DOP? Would it be possible to cramp at this stage and they are on and off like AF cramps mild and dull.

Im excited now i may of ovulated

I'm not sure hun I don't know if you can base ovulation just on having cramps x

Definitely wouldn't base ov on just cramps as I'm sure ladies with pcos do get cramps through their cycle so it would be best to back it up with ov tests. Especially as you're on Metformin. X

Bella hun, I know its bloody hard to keep positive especially on the first cycle when you just don't know if it's going to work but we're here to support you hun. Keep going with the ov tests, my first cycle's positives came on cd18. There's still time yet! X

I'm cd12 and forgot to do an ov test earlier so I'll do one later when I get home. x

Thank u girls...just went for nice meal with hubby and parents doin a bbq tomorro so hopefully thatl make me feel more chipper lol i know its silky but i guess i was too optimistic thinkin it would b a miracle drug makin me ov at a normal time but i guess no ones normal lol

Again I'm not sure if this will help anyone but i gave up on temping very early on in or ttc journey.used to use fertility friend but just became frustrated.
the only really significant things that have happened every time we have conceived (both with our girls and with our losses) is i have vey vivid dreams up to when my af is due and shortly after and I am absolutely sweating in bed,
each day i wake up and I'm boiling hot.
i get cold feet on occasions but in general during the night and when i first waken up I'm much much hotter than normal.
nicky 1987- i think i am about 6-7 weeks, my LMP was 1st June but as i have PCOS I'm not convinced at all that i ov'd on day 14, think it might have been more like day 21, or even 28.
i kept getting creamy mucus (sorry for tmi) but when tested roughly 12-15 days after each time it was negative until just there on 17th july. so who knows??
might be 4 weeks , might be nearer 7 or 8.
I'm trying to stay relaxed this time and not over think anything as I've had too many disappointments recently.

Its a bit late now to take an ovulation test, and my CM was watery clear and slippery. Temp went up then down then back up again for 2 days in a row. Still cramping now,

pink diamond - i would ignore anythign that you think is ovulation cramps. There are so many organs, especialy the digestive system down there, being able to pin point ov pain would be v difficult as your ovaries are the size of a big olive, at most 1.5 inches.

PD I think you may be best off ringing your consultant or gp and asking for some day 21 bloods. That's the only way you are going to know. Honestly just having cramps isn't reliable at all x

oooh and dont look at temp changes on a day to day basis, it is worthless. to confirm ov, your temp must for 3 days be higher then a he previous 6.

haha, honestly its so easy. as long as you spend the time at the start (prob a couple of hours) familiarising yourself with everything it really is a doodle. if i hadnt done it i would never have known about my crappy progesterone levels (despite regular periods and +opks each month) and gone to the gp.

(i knew i had crappy prgesterone levels because temp never staed very high after ovaultion and as i could confirm ov day i knew exactly how long my leutal phase was and it was on the short side (10days)

Okay thank you ladies I think I will just use my chart and get another Thermometer and then try again. If for A min I think I may be pregnant I got some cheapies I will just take one of those

Hey ladies.

Isitbabytime I seem to Be in the same boat as you in regards to the crappy progesterone levels. I get positive opks and peak readings on the monitor but my tests shown to have low levels apart from 1 cycle. Doc has also put me on clomid to help, after much discussion! How are you gettidg on with the clomid??

Also ladies taking EPO have you noticed any change in your luteal phase? mine seems to have gone from 13 to 15 and still counting....done a test but bfn. Puzzled! X x x

Just checking in...I'm in that limbo of having just finished the Clomid and waiting to start the John Wayne phase as I like to refer to it! What CD do you ladies usually start BDing? I'm CD 8 today and we spontaneously BDd last night. Spontaneous, unplanned sex?! What's that all about?
