AF due a week tomoro (30th) cos I have a pesky 17 day LP. Gonna try and hold out til then, if AF not here by the Tuesday I will test. We have given it our all this month, we couldn't have bd'd more. At least I have the buffer of the clomid to take next cycle if bfn. God bless our Vicky! Xxx

Hi ladies....I am now on CD 18 I have been cramping really bad the past 2 days (right now its actually really hurting) I took an OPK and out of all the ones I have taken this one has been the darkest...is this a positive???

I think your test looks positive to me. I have only every really used Digi ones though in the past.

I wish I was ovulating.. I don't even think the Metformin is aimed for ovulation, My gynecologist said it not a direct fertility drug. Its for Insulin resistance and weight... I have been feeling miserable and down about myself for the past couple of days now. I never thought having our bundle of joy would be so hard, upsetting, stressful and a big mess with the little tick for tack things I am doing like temp monitoring, so all complicated. Ive tried all sorts even my partner as too. I have tried, Soy Isfo's, Folic acid, Centrum before and during pregnancy, Temping, OPK's Metformin im trying now, OH has been taking mens vitamins. Changing my diet and losing 9 pounds in weight! (My gynecologist wanted me to lose half a stone so I have lost a little bit more than I was targeted to So BMI should be what it should be now, and im carrying on) Im even exercise... I cant get that LH at a normal level so I can ovulate, I cant even get positive OPK I brought loads and haven't had a positive in 3 months... Im just feeling helpless.. And that im failing.. Just had a bad day and feeling down with myself.. I just dont know what to do. The cramps my not have been Ovulation on the 19th July.. (Probably just my body playing a awful nasty trick on me)

I try to be positive I really do.. But sometimes you get down like this and end up picking yourself up again and trying again. And soemtimes you just be positive so long till you got none left and hit rock bottom, we can only take so much..

Kay - 17 day LP! Ahh I'd be going mad lol. I reckon thats a good way of looking at it, if it comes to it you've always got the Clomid you can use. x

JoJo - looks good to me hun! you'll soon be in the 2WW! X

PD - I know it can be really hard and disheartening but give the Metformin a chance to work hun. Your consultant won't have given you medication that wouldn't help. Your ovaries are fine, not cystic so wouldn't necessarily need help with Clomid but your hormones are the ones that need a boost and fx metformin will do that. Otherwise I think they can try a combination of Clomid and metformin together. But don't lose hope hun, the Metformin might take a while to kickstart. Hang in there. x

I put Chris on a ban for the first 7 weeks - then he became unbearable so I had to give in lol! But fingers crossed its been ok!

PD my clomid didn't work first or second time round - it was third time lucky for me so give it chance hun x

Just to update on where I am.

12 DPO !!! Now I have tender boobies esp around the nipple area!
I have had symptoms from 8 DPO from nausea, really bad cramping to now sore bb's!!

I couldn't resist and tested with FMU 10 DPO but BFN!!!

It is a cheapie test that says you can test from first day of missed period (so was 4 days early)
but couldnt help myself, thought I might see just the tiniest sniff of a line! But NO .

Im thinking the additional hormones from the Clomid is giving me the symptoms?? Cruel body!!
Only two days to go so lets see if the witch shows her ugly mug! x

Why am I on Clomid?
TTC for over 2 yrs , recurrent miscarriage, referred to fertility clinic, all tests come back clear. Hormones on low side , so prescribed clomid. Told may not work as I do ovulate and regular periods. So mainly to boost hormones I guess?

How much am I on? - 50 mg (6 cycles) (on cycle 2, had 3 month break between cycle 1, ttcand bfn got too much)

When do you take it? - CD2 til CD6. In the evening before bed

Any side effects? - More moody than usual. Ovulation pain. Sore boobs and other similar PG symptoms in 2ww.

Did it help OV? - No idea yet!! I really hope it will! I guess this is increase in hormones so possibly?

If you had long cycles, did it help reduce them? - N/A

Was Clomid a success for you? - I so hope it will be!

No symptoms on my previous cycles but really sore boobs and nipples and af cramps before I got my bfp. Also yes I tested - got bfn 12dpo then really faint positive at 13dpo x
