The Clomid Thread - 6 BFP's!

hey hun
i temp!
i put the thermometer on bedside cabinet ontop of my temp chart (using a graphchart is really useful as u can see the spikes and dips)....id also use a temping website ( I use fertility friend but there are others) as u input ur temp each day and it tells u when u ov'd (tho it tells u AFTER u ov whihc can be a bit of a nightmare.

one thing to remember hun wen temping...cant stress this enuff....u have to take it at the same time everyday (i set my alarm) and u take it before u talk, drink, eat, or gt up, its literally the very first thing u do in the morning

Yes I dont know where to buy one of these charts might just make one myself.

Okay so I dont know which Temp to believe this morning I got 36.3 Oral and Vaginal I got 36.5... I know (TMI) Which does everyone think is the most acurate place?

I gave up with temping cos I couldn't get the hang of it plus doing it at the same time every day...couldn't do it! If you're on metformin, ov tests might be ok. I used ov tests before Clomid and they were completely unreliable but my first go on Clomid and I got a definite positive and got another pos on my second cycle so expecting another this time too. You could always do them alongside your temping?

Yes I might just do this. Did you OPK everyday? Or shall I just OPK on high Temp days?

Everyday from about cd10 onwards. I don't use fmu as the LH is synthesised in the morning so tend to do my tests in the afternoon around 4 o clock. I also try and hold my pee for a few hours beforehand as well so I'd pee at 12 noon then wait til 4 to pee again so I could do my test. X

i do my temping orally hun, and u need to do ur opks every day (ur start day depends on how long ur cycles are but if ur irregular id start maybe cd 9/10

I buy mine from eBay, I buy in bulk from a seller/shop called fertility plan. I also have digi ones from Clearblue which give smiley faces when it detects a surge. I use the digi ones when I get positives on the cheaper tests to back them up. X

How much do your Cheapies cost you hun I have used clear blue digital before

Depends how many you buy really. If your cycles are unpredictable or youre unsure how many you'd need then definitely spend a bit more on a bigger batch. I normally get around 75 - 100, think they are either just under or a little over £10 which isn't too bad really. X

I heard one sided cramping is ovulation is this right?

Well cd 15 and opk quite light....im serioudly wondering if the darkish one i had with cramps on cd 13 was my posituve! As cramps hardly there now....if not im ferling quite down today as i got a feeling this round isnt goin to make me ov eatly or shorten cycle
