Well, we have been fine apart from me getting a tummy bug and Daniel refusing anything i made So today we tried some ready made Hipp organic puree and he munched it down.

Not been on PF for a few days cause OH is off work this week so we've been having loads of family time and doing odd jobs around the house I can't wait for him to go back to work though, He make so much mess it's like i have two children some days

Poor Lola has had thrush in her mouth. It's just about cleared up now but i think i'm getting it on my boobies

Hi girls!

Well, loads of things happened to us

First of all finally Daniels cast (he had tallopes) was taken off on Thursday! YAYAY!

It ment a) finally I was able to wash him after 3 months
and.....today we went swimming! Well, he went and I was holding him in the swimming pool. Poor thing got scared in the beginning but then LOVED it!

And, I decided to participate in Race for LIfe http://www.pregnancyforum.co.uk/forum/v ... hp?t=69776

Which means a lot to me

Lola's mummy- Since I started him on ready made food he is perfectly fine and loves it! Which, I suppose is good, but its a shame he is not having my homemade stuff. Will try him again in a few weeks, will see then

Hi ladies.

How did this happen? My baby will be 1 tomorrow! Aaaaargh! We bought his present yesterday, we got him this which looks fab and will be great for the spring/summer. I'm making his birthday cakes tonight (we're having Saturday tea with my family & Sunday tea with OH's so two cakes ) I'm really excited, just don't know where the time has gone!

Austin was weighed on Tuesday, the HV said if he'd been 1 we would only have to take off his coat & shoes but because he was only 51 weeks we had to strip him naked! He's now 20lb 12oz so still a little dot really bless him. He's started walking properly now, he doesn't crawl any more except to find somewhere he can stand up (he hasn't worked out how to do it by himself yet). So I have a proper toddler now.

The chicken pox went quite quickly, he's still got a few crusty spots but other than the first few days he wasn't that bothered by it at all. After a month of being ill he's actually well again which is wonderful!

He's babbling loads, I'm sure he thinks I can understand him. He can say mum, dad, Eddie, cat, goat, car and tiger. He's started trying to blow kisses too, although he usually just kisses his hand!

Sorry for the essay! Just so proud of my big boy.

Sorry its been so long since I posted on here forgive me?

MB - Austin is such a treasure!!! I cannot believe how fast the last year has gone, although I do remember reading about your super fast home birth when Austin was born!!! I hope you all have a fantastic birthday weekend!! His pressie looks awesome!!!

Well, a quick update from me:

Libby can now do her ring stacker she dances around to any advert/ music going and says "danz" its soooooo cute!!! Will try to get a vid of her, but every time she see's me with the camera, she stops dancing and makes a beeline for it

And my little princess slept all the through the night last night. On Wed night we did a bit of controlled crying when she wouldn't go to bed (as DH doesn't keep her upstairs if he is feeding her and she doesn't fall aslep, he just brings her down and announces "she's not tired" and put her in her play pen with her toys!!! so we are trying to counteract that as now if DH feeds her, she kicks a fuss so that she comes back downstairs!!). Anyway, she was unhappy with the new rules (of course) and was crying, not distressed crying, just moaning. MIL came up & told us 'It wasn't right!! We would end up with an insecure child blah blah blah" I told her that it wasn't her decision to make, and that she wouldn't be insecure, as we were stroking her head, and saying "it'll be ok" when she was really crying t out, we didn't leave her in the bedroom on her own to cry as we couldn't bring ourselves to, but once she was in the cot we just didn't pick her up out of bed.
She took 45 to get settled to sleep, and only cried for 10 mins of that!! Last night, she didn't cry at all, we just kept lying her down when she stood up etc. She settled in 30 mins, and no tears!!! In your eye MIL!!! LOL!!! & she slept all the way through the night, we heard her wake at 1am, she was coughing, then we left her a few mins, peeked in and she had settled herself back to sleep!!
I'm sure its not going to be all plain sailing from here, but I though that was a great start/ result from the previous nights efforts?!

Anyway, I hope everyone else is good?

Hope everyone is well

We haven't been upto much lately. We went to the manchester meet yesterday which was nice. Lola slept both of the car journeys and a little bit while we was there so she didn't go to bed until 1am last night and then woke up at 7am, So i'm very tired today

I nearly forgot, Lola can pull her self up on things now so i can't take my eyes off her. I don't know what i'm going to do when she can crawl. I'll just have to have empty rooms

im so busy these days now im back at work, and just always seem to be doing stuff on my days off too!

waa-waa is in her own room FINALLY! i must take some pics and post them, we very proud of our handiwork.

i went the manc meet too- everyone was lovely, its a shame i couldnt stay long. i hope to go to the big birmingham one obviously will stay longer as its so far away!

iv gotta go and get dinner ready for her ladyship (LOL she's more and more diva-ish every day!) but ill be back on later.

How is everyone doing?
We had Libby's birthday party yesterday - it weny really well!! We all had a lovely day - and she has a mountain of presents!! She iwas absolutely spoilt - opened some pressies today, (she's had some gorgeous clothes, a dolls pushchair and some building blocks), and is lucky to have so many generous people who care about her
I can't believe she is 1 tomorrow This time last year I was in labour
We're going to go to the zoo tomorrow (Twycross) - fingers crossed the dry weather holds out
I took loads of piccies y'day, and will take a load tomorrow - I will post some on Wednesday.
Have been really busy the weekend, so haven't been about - but I haven't forgotten about you

We haven't really been up to much. Lola's still not sleeping well so i'm always shattered

I'm taking her to my mum's for an hour today though to try and get me used to leaving her before i go back to work as i think i've only left her once since she was born. I was only gone for 3 hours and rang my mum about 6 times

We've been neglecting our thread
Well, I am fine, work is busy, and keeping me here late most nights which is rubbish but hey ho, I'm off next week - and MIL goes home on Sat AM for a week I cannot wait!!!!
Well, having had libby's birthday our house is overflowing with toys!! Got lots of Clarks vouchers too, which is handy!! Although, i bought Libby's first shoes mid-Feb iirc, and MIL gave me this, only lasting 2-3 weeks talk blah blah blah, don't be in a rush to get her shoes blah blah blah, well, she's still in the same pair, I have been taking her every 2 weeks to get measured, and they are staying the same size?! Surely they'll grow at some point
Anyway, must dash, gotta get some payments sent before 5.30 as i am determined to get out of here on time tonight........just happened to ctumble onto PF instead of the Barclays website I wasn't lurking honest

Oh & KK....more babies.....I'd love another but C ain't up for it yet & our bank balance couldn't cope with it either

Hey ladies I've been too busy getting pregnant to post

ds had his 12 month jab yesterday & he was SO good, he cried for no more than 2 seconds, then waved bye bye to the nurse and smiled! Then chatted to everyone in the waiting room when we waited afterwards.

Hope all the babies (I guess that should be toddlers now?) are well

hi all wow cant believe this thread is still going
well done everyone
just thought id pop in and say hi to all those who put up with me in last pregnancy
hope you are all ok and all your babies have had lovely 1st birthdays
christopher is still an absolute gem not walking yet but getting braver all the time hes letting go of the furniture and free standing for long periods and taking 1 or 2 steps here and there without holding on
he had his 12 month injections and all he did was grunt i was so shocked as hes always screamed the place down before hes got his MMR a week on monday not looking forward to that one he has been saying hya dada and nana for ages but finally started saying mama properly on thursday and baba ive not stopped smiling since
he sleeps 12 hours through the night and 2 hours in morning and 1 in afternoon so everything great here
we have decided to ttc 1 more and then im going to be sterilised between me and o/h we have had 4 boys so would love a girl but if we have another boy i dont mind i love my boys come on girlies all come and get pg with me what will i do without you all on next pregnancy
