Not far in maybe an inch or so be fine just into the vagina. Ive found works miles better for me. Id start it next cycle if I was you as it wont give you a realistic result doing both orally and vaginal together as I think vaginal temps are higher.

Thats good to know, I will look at testing it out next cycle. I don know how effective me doing it orally is

Orally is definitely not working for me, this morning it's apparently 42.64 which surely would have me in hospital! Did it again got a better reading but it's obviously not very accurate. Would vaginal temp still be more accurate if I don't get solid 3 hrs sleep prior to the test and of I move? Arthritis is a bugger

This is my 2nd cycle at the moment charting vaginally. I usually have to get up to my toddler once or twice a night too.

Hmm I dont know if I should change it or not now! Between the dog needing out and my spine/neck/knees waking me up to move positions I just dont know if its worth me carrying on tempting at all

Why not just keep going this cycle orally or just stop completely if you wish? When you have had AF then give it a try vaginally, if it doesnt work for you still then have a break from it. I never have a solid 3 hours sleep depending when she wakes me up so sometimes can only be an hour or two because of my DD waking me up, but have found it to be alot more accurate vaginally.

Totally strange. opk still being up and down no definitive answer as of CD35, so frustrating! x

Todays chart. There was a darker line last night looking like it might become a positive today. Typically my husband was at work so we cant BD until this afternoon, fingers crossed it will be darker today

Try another opk in the evening. It gets dark very quickly x

Husband should be getting up soon after his night shift so I have told him to prepare for DTD!!! Im going to do one now- opks are in the en suite and I didnt want to disturb his beauty sleep so i have held off so far! xx

This is this afternoons test so disheartened. Does this mean I Ov yesterday and its too late to conceive with today's BD? I have been drinking water so I could POAS but the wee itself wasnt diluited looking, it had enough colour not to look as if I had drunk too much for it to be reliable

I think once opk is positive it does not matter holding pee or not. Sometimes opk goes very faint before it goes positive. Keep testing twice a day. It will happen!!! X

x3 today and still faint hardly anything. Could yesterdays have been positive and the surge has passed? If so, was DTD today enough? So stressful! x
