And don’t I know it! It’s killing me. Can’t believe my testing buddy cracked (but thrilled for the bfp).

Just really confused. Had the usual brown gunk tue and we’d and seemed to be thickening up like it does pre-period but only up to about 20p size stainover the whole day. Then yesterday I thought it had stopped but actually I did get a few speckles - like a 5p size stain over whole day and same today.

That gives me hope as usually it would get steadily heavier till red starts to come through. Nips feel a bit sensitive and boobs slightly large but that can happen to me off and on in week before period.

I’m only 11dpo today. Would usually come on (or spotting increase to worthwhile amounts and get a little more red in it anyway) by 12dpo so i should know by test or visitation from the red lady sometime tomorrow.

I’m really apprehensive though and not even sur3 if I’m brave enough to test! This is cycle 9 I think and I’m starting to worry. If it’s another bfn I’m going to have an initial conversation with the GP and see if we can organise some tests for reassurance. Am 35 in a couple weeks so I dont want to faff about too too long.

Also , fmu isn’t a ‘thing’ for me as I need a wee at least 4x a night (pelvic floor like a patchwork blanket after DS1 -believe me, there’s never a need for ribbed condoms in my house!)

Do I use the 2am wee, 4am wee or 7am wee d’you reckon?

It's hopeful hun that your spotting hasn't progressed like it does normally . It's worth a visit to the gp hun I think you can go after 6 months when you hit 35 but I could be wrong. I so hope the red lady didn't sing for either of us. I proper feel like AF is coming just with how I'm feeling down there but so hopeing it doesn't my OH is abit excited about us testing tomorrow lol

I'd use which ever one you have the longest hold before

Ooh, perhaps I’ll get a series of shot glasses and collect it then decide in the proper morning which is strongest? Husband away so he won’t think I’ve got shots of sambuca and red bull lined up In the ensuite.

He has no idea about testing days/fertile days etc. I think he vaguely knows that periods staying away is a good thing or a bad thing depending on if you want a baby but that’s the extent of it. He Only even knows if i’m ‘On’ if he gets the ‘rollaway’ move when trying his luck in bed. Bit jealous of OH’s who get excited and involved but on the other hand, as he doesn’t have a clue when the ‘best days’ are, my OH doesn’t feel stressed or pressured either.

I'm back after my mc in August- I am assuming my 1st day of mc as my cd1 as it was exactly like a heavy period and I felt ovulation pain exactly 2 weeks after... therefore I'm assuming to be testing around 16th.

It's only this cycle that he's been excited and that's after me having a go at him because he had a blip during ovulation this cycle and I got abit upset because he was saying he was stressed about it all so I reminded him of the fact that I have hormones screaming at me so that's why he is excited this time round

Thank you It's been a difficult few weeks but I'm really ready for this and to be honest I'm a stronger person for it all. I'm not really expecting a bfp this cycle as I don't really know what's happened to my body in the last couple of weeks. I am only guessing. But hey, as we all well know, anything can happen! Xx

Will check in later and read posts, it just wanted to say I think I'm officially in my 2ww now. Had major ov pains yesterday but neg opks, so I think I ovulated yesterday. Which means I'm 1dpo today I already feel like it's not my cycle, but glad the 2ww is here early.

We have got our BFP on our first cycle after MC but this one was a weird 40 day cycle haha so don’t worry too much if you also have a random long cycle. There is hope on getting your BFP the first cycle afterwards and I’ve been told there’s less than 5% chance of MC straight after a MC so fx for you hun for your sticky bean x x x

I got told by the nurse to wait till after my first period but that was only for dating purposes so I thought well what the heck, if it happens before AF it happens. They can work dates out later. I'm not fussed if I don't know my exact weeks. The mc definitely made me think about it all in a different light. Just gonna go for it!

I'm feeling bit sad about ttc this cycle, getting my positive OPKs yesterday while I'm away was really what i was hoping to avoid, if the egg was only released today, we last BD on Thursday night, if I wasn't away we would have done it last night too, gutted that this might well have prevented BFP! X

I wouldn't wait either with ttc, like you said they can pinpoint the conception day later on anyways. Hope you get a sticky one again soon!x

EmmaN, sperm can last up to 5 days in ewcm! If you OVd yesterday or today, you're still covered hun!xx

Thank you. Yes I totally agree with u. The dating thing is weird anyway cos I was 6.5 weeks but obviously wouldn't have technically been pregnant much more than 3.5 weeks when the mc happened so to me it's silly to wait for dating reasons. And if I'm emotionally and physically ok now, why wait?
