That’s what I did as I knew DH finds it hard to ‘perform’ three nights in a row so I went day before and day after surge and it worked. All other 7 months ttc were day of and day before surge and I never caught that way.

However, if you think you can wangle a good performance today AND tomorrow then that’s even better.

Talking about sex so many days in a row. If my husband does it 3 days in a row the amount comes out reduces a lot. Does that mean less sperm?

The problem with doing the deed too often isn't so much that they produce less sperm, they produce the same amount, but the sperm won't be as mature. Leaving them susceptible to fail at meeting the egg. My specialist told me that every other day is optimum, to allow the sperms to develop and mature.

However, that all depends on your man and the condition of his swimmers in the first place. Some have no problem with ever day and producing majority of mature swimmers, others will struggle.

So I've done another cheapie test, from a different distributer. I bought loads last month and just shoved them to the back of the wardrobe then forgot about them. I tested with these at the end of last cycle and never got a sniff of a line or indent. Anyway, I didn't one tonight with several hours hold and there is a second line. It's so faint my phone can't pick it up. Now usually I will talk my self out of seeing any line, especially if I have to hold the test this way or that. But I don't with this test, the line came up within the 10 min developing time.

My only worry is at how faint it is for 12dpo.

Praying tomorrow gives me closure and I get the answer we all want to see on our tests.

Ooohhh baby.3 congrats a line is a line no matter how faint and you have to remember some people don’t even get a line until after missed AF and this was also the evening so stop doubting and enjoy your

Cheapie test possibly with not too much dye. Mine was very faint at 12 dpo too, that wouldn’t concern me. Congratulations

@ baby.3 those internet cheapo tests were SUPER faint for me until I had well and truly missed my period. If you've got a super faint line on one of them you'll probably get a fairly clear line on a FRER. When I got my BFP I got a faint line on one of those cheap tests first, and I mean FAINT. I had to hold it beside an OPK that had the two lines to actually see the line on the HPT. I thought "nope, I'm being silly". But the next morning I took a FRER anyway and it was easy to see the two lines. I think this could be it for you.

Also don't worry about it being "late". 12dpo is still early!! I thought I got my vvvvfl at 9dpo but dating scans have shown it must've been 12dpo. My baby is perfectly healthy at 23 weeks now x

Well I've been laid here wide awake for hours. Didnt fall asleep til 12,woke at 2am needing a wee. Managed to nod back off til 3.30 then laid here wide awake til 4am. Finally caved and POAS, did the sainsbury one and a cheapie one can't believe I'm about to type this but...

... I got a faint but visable (to the naked eye) second line on both!! It's hard to capture the lines coz of the glar from the bathroom light. So I'll wait til they dry a little and post a pic.

Wholy crap, I have my BFP.... Please let this be a sticky bean!!!

Piglet - I definitely last night. I even put a pillow under my bum afterwards and laid there for half an hour before going to the loo. I normally go straight to the loo after so wanted to try something different haha.
Will also be DTD tonight too and then I am most definitely done for a good few days. Haha xx

Baby.3 I see the blue test in the second photo but struggling to see the internet cheapie.
Like you said though you can see it so I can’t wait for the lines to get stronger.
Get yourself a digital for after your AF is due xx

Heres a better pic of the blue one. I can't get one of the Internet cheapie, it won't stay in focus. Gonna leave it a couple of days now and see what happens xxx
