** September 2014 Mummies! **

Hi ladies. Hope you're all doing well.

Question to Kanga and any other ladies who work night shifts..Are any of you struggling to eat during the night?
I was fine all along but this week I've really struggled to eat anytging substantial during my night shifts. I can barely manage a small amount of fruit. During the days when I'm working I'm managing a cooked breakfast and/or cold food. I'm starting to worry about not Baby not getting enough food.

I can't wait for next week so I can finish off my stint of nights! I needed to moan

Bye for now ladies see you all soon in tri 3!! :) still be trying to keep up here tho lol!

Morning Everybody,

Happy Friday! So yesterday was offically Tri 3 for me too! We are slowly starting to migrate over there now!
Will dip in and out of both though to keep up with everyone..
Hope everybody is doing ok..x

Happy 27 weeks to those moving over to Tri 3 - the rest of us will be joining you soon!! Time is starting to speed up now!

So glad it's Friday - really starting to feel tired now, it's the worst I've been so far as I was really lucky and wasn't too bad early in the pregnancy. Got another busy weekend of decorating to look forward to - although we are starting on what is going to be the babies room so that's exciting! xx

Good luck to those off to Tri 3! Crazy how fast time is going, just over a week for me and I'm hitting the final stretch too! So nowhere near prepared yet :)

Kanga that sounds like an eventful night at work, one you could probably do without right now! Hope you're ok and manage to rest up today.

Yep, thank fudge it's friday, I'm battered and bruised and ready for the weekend. Incidentally, here's my blood test bruise after a day! Ouch! x

Dont Panic that is horrendous :( I hope it clears up quickly.

Kanga, that does sound eventful!

I am struggling terribly getting through the working week. I am just exhausted, and am worried how I will last 9 more weeks before I get to leave work! lol.

Hubby is doing some painting in baby's room today so I am happy (he is a very reluctant DIYer) I just can't wait to put the cot up as we've had it for months still sitting in the hall in it's box!

Congrats to all the 27 weekers! I am going to be there next week and just can't believe it!

xx

Mrs cee... I work nights occasionally and find eating very difficult, it tends to be cereal for me (and chocolate!) which is not healthy, I just never feel like eating anything in the wee small hours.

Happy move day to those lucky tri 3ers! Week and a bit for me til I join you all!

Hope everyone is ok, sounds like you had an eventful night kanga!

Xxx

Oh my days don't panic...that bruise is horrific! Ouch!
Xxx

ClimbingRose - I was trying to express something out of mine as my my friend recommended I start early and it means it will help get things flowing for when I do give birth. However, I saw something online that said if you express whilst pregnant then it can cause premature labour as it makes your body think you have already given birth.

Not sure if this is true, but it put me off trying to express :(

I don't need to express it just comes out haha! I read up worries that if I was producing milk now was that a sign I could go into labour early and just found mixed comments midwife said no some people just so get their milk early!!

With my first I started leaking about now and I was 8 days overdue and my milk hadn't even properly come in...that delight awaited me sound day 3 post birth. This time round no leaking yet....
I wouldn't try to express, your body may just get confused and may make feeding on demand a bit tricky if that's what you are intending to do...if you create a 'demand' that doesn't tie in with your baby when it arrives you might end up feeling a bit uncomfortable in the boobage area! Just let nature take it's course and see how things go when baby is born!
Xxx

Oh my god Dont Panic, cant beleive you got that bruise from a blood test, its so bad :(

Soph thats interesting to know, cant say im trying to express myself lol, just tweaking the old nips wondering if anything will come out, im really looking forward to breast feeding but also a bit anxious about it.. xx

Thanks Sazzle! I'm going to give the cereal another try.

Wow, Dont Panic. That looks pretty painful.

I'm really hoping the Sun is good to us this weekend

Just wanted to share a picture of my beautiful mum. She passed away 10 years ago today and I still miss her everyday. She has missed out on so much and would have been the best grandma to Harry and James, hate that she never got to experience it. Her smile in the photo reminds me just how happy she was xx
