happy 25 weeks today soph.

on paper, it doesn't look good at all clare, but it's true, you will cope. i've had that moment myself, you'll be just fine.

sorry to those struggling with pains :( i've had painful belly ache my whole flight..

hope the move went alright loch, glad the school issue turned out okay!

glad to read appts etc went well

i'm far away from everyone except vicky i think?!

wow hopeful. id love to visit australia one day! sounds like a lovely place..

holiday was lovely, minus the four nights of barely any sleep thanks to very noisy neighbours :( the bed was also incredibly uncomfy, we slept on the sofa and sofa bed last night, much comfier although still didn't sleep so great. safe to say i am shattered!

lilmiss, come outta that corner! hope it doesn't drop anymore, and that it all turns out to be okay! got my fingers crossed for you.

dont_panic, what a palava with your dogs oh my! i hope everyones alright! shame about your iphone too, gutted.

really struggling with heartburn these last few days.

i'm tired too hollysmummy. we had to walk up a couple hills every night this week to get back to our apartment, and i couldn't actually speak i was so tired from walking up there. twice as hot and twice as tired.

oh emma, hope you're feeling better now? sounds awful. being sick is so horrible!

Welcome back Nic!

Horrid on the flight isn't it! I had downloaded some films to watch on my ipad and put it on the tray but the tray wouldn't fit because of my bump!! Couldn't get comfy at all!

Welcome back nic! We've missed you! :)

Yeah I'm all better now...it's gone through all the kids aswell, so it's been a tiring week so I'm a little run down but nothing a few early nights won't remedy.

I hope you enjoyed your break away, despite the uncomfy bed....there's nothing better than getting back into your own bed is there :) :)

I've got my 25 week midwife appointment tomorrow...so we'll see how my bumps measuring, as it just feels massive. I've never had a bump this big before lol...I'm starting to look weird lol x

Happy V Day Kathy! Hope you managed to get some more sleep xx

happy v day rebekah! hope you managed to get some more sleep before you had to go to work this morning?

Happy vday kathy! Happy 25 weeks to nic and myself!

hoping you don't have the Goliath blues Nic :(

Hahaha wtf! I didn't write Goliath! I wrote holiday!!! Autocorrect!!!!

hahahaha goliath. not yet - it was a bit too hot at times to be honest, it's not raining today (yet) so maybe when it does i'll get sad haha xx

Anyone else seeing a lot more movements form the outside I definatly look like I have an alien in my tummy at the moment haha can see her pushing out and wriggeling so weird/amazing!! :))

Also my bump has gotten smaller I'm sure, I think I read somewhere that there's is less amniotic fluid at this strange so you and feel more movements could that be why my
Bump is smaller?!

Finally got to see my doctor after a month of waiting!!! Just to be referred to a Counciler and have to wait again!!!! I know I need to talk so someone about how down I feel all the time but I hate councilers so bad seen soo many through my teenage years. :( hoping to have more of a chat with my midwife about it aswell as I'm not very good at telling people how I feel I bottle it up and don't want to waste their time but my doctor has spoken to mw so I kinda have to now!

How's everyone else doing so far?!

Welcome back Nic - hope you had a fantastic holiday, the pics looked fab!

Hope you had a good birthday Kanga!

Vee - I've definitely been feeling more movements over the last week or so, have an anterior placenta so don't think I feel as much as some. Not heard that about the amniotic fluid but that may fit. Have seen a few movements from the outside but normally as soon as I start watching he stops wriggling! Naughty baby! x

Awh yea she's being naughty too she's does it for me but if DH is watching she stops lol dosnt like an Audence lol!!.. It's so nice feeling them move loads :D yeah I don't know where I read it but it would kinda make sence :/ lol

Glad you had a lovely holiday Nic, even though you didn't sleep well. Hope you have managed to catch up on some sleep now your home and have your bed back. I'm suffering so much with heartburn too, I hate it. Had to take gaviscon 3/4 times during my night shift last night and was still suffering in between.

Hope you managed to get some sleep yesterday Kathy and work wasn't too bad. YAY for your v day too :)

Gld to hear you are on the mend mrsH and the rest of the family. I've got my 25 week mw appt today too at 2pm.

Happy belated 25 weeks to Soph, Nic and grannyw's daughter.

Hope your daughter's scan goes well today grannyw.

Vee I'm getting ao much more movement now and like becky biscuit I usually miss most of them as baby stops as I look, managed to get a cool video yesterday though of my belly jumping around.

Hope the counselling isn't as bad as you think either Vee, I've never had much luck with them either as I'd rather not say anything.

I had a lovely birthday yesterday thank you ladies. A soft play group first thing with Harry, followed by a breakfast buffet all you can eat and a little stroll and paddle down the beach. Had to return home to have a sleep before work last night though :(

Feeling quite bad this morning as we have only been up 30mins!! Such a bad mummy sleeping in so so so late and leaving Harry to go back to bed as he had nothing better to do, oops!! night shifts and toddlers do not go, least he seems happy enough. Going to take him to a park I a bit to make it up to him xx

The scan went welll - baby is within the normal range but there's more fluid and it's possible she has gestational diabetes... back for GTT next Monday then another scan the Monday after. At least they are keeping an eye. Guestimate weight of baby at the moment is 2 lb - so a little on the heavier side (but that could be because of GD)... seems so unfair that she's got it - she's not overweight, nor does she eat unhealthily - guess it's just one of those things

Just got our baby monitor it's soo kool lol we got the Motorola blink1 it's the video wifi one can set it up with your phone or ipad anything like that you can rotate and zoom the camera from your phone talk to them and it has a thermometer!! I keep
Spying on DH and scaring him haha! Only £99 from boots plus you get loads of points :)

Well...just had my midwife appointment, and think it's safe to say that I'm well and truly p****d off and upset. She said that she could tell straight away that I'd put weight on and got the scales to weigh me and re-calculate my BMI! Now, I'm very aware I have put weight on, which pregnant woman doesn't?! But that comment was unnecessary, as she made me feel like utter crap. My BMI had increased from
29 to 35 and I've been referred to a consultant. She was questioning what I ate, and told me to "be mindful of what I'm eating as I don't want to create a baby that's too big" what!!!
Thing is, I eat well...plenty of fruit and veg....the odd takeaway but nothing drastic. I'm hyper sensitive about my weight and anyone who knows me knows not to criticise me about it. I've been in tears this afternoon. I know there's guidelines and stuff, but there's ways and means to go about it, and she hasn't gone about it the right way I feel. I feel like I shouldn't be eating anything now.
Sorry for the rant girls...just really upset today now :( :( xx
