** September 2014 Mummies! **

OMG Becky! Dairy Milk Oreo is ammaaaaazzziiinngggg! Lol....glad you had a good day with the kiddies.

Hope work isn't too bad Kanga..the dairy milk should help.
I feel for you with your back pain. I'm suffering today too, although getting myself in the garden to cut the grass and then planting what felt like a million plants clearly hasn't helped.

Have a fab time on your Jollies Nic! Not jealous at all! :)
Enjoy the rest of your hols Vicky...again, no envy whatsoever! Lol xx

Hope you get a better nights sleep tonight Vee...my nights are awful at the minute too. I got a dreamgenii pillow which really helped at first, but not doing it's job at the minute

Having a day at the bowling alley tomorrow. It's my DDs 10th birthday. I really could cry, they're all getting so big so fast.

Hope everyone's ok and enjoying the nice weather this weekend! Xx

Work was surprisingly ok. I was in agony for most of it, but the other lady on shift (1st time I've worked with her) was adamant I was only to do the light duties and she did all the hard jobs. She has 2 kids of her own so more understanding of your restrictions whilst pregnant, although she was shocked at how it affected me with the pgp. I was going to ask for tonight off so I can try to recover, but Sunday nights are less busy and will working with Agi again I know I can get through it, plus DH is on baby duty today :) Off to bed now and hopefully won't be up before 3pm lol shame I am missing out on the nice weather.

Enjoy your Sunday ladies :)

Thanks so much kanga! Woohoo! Happy vday to me and Nic! So happy!

Crackers – I know, I didn’t think anybody on our thread was local either! Only a bridge between us ha!! Well, Hubs would definitely agree with you there!!!
Ooh exciting about the hen weekend! I am missing my best friends hen do as she is having it 4 days before my due date so could be risky ha! Im so gutted!!

Ah Kanga, bless you..I hope you are feeling a bit better today…

Glad you had a good day Becky! Oh yes 1 Newborn has to be easier than 3 ha!

Mrs Httc, I hope you had a nice time at your Daughters Bday!

Ah Julie Happy 27 weeks!! I will be joining you on Thursday!

Nice to hear from your Babygirl, I wondered where you had been! Are you still suffering with morning sickness then?
We have bought a couple of larger bits but hardly anything!! We feel very unorganised!

So I had a mixed weekend…Had a bit of a teary day Saturday, got myself in a real panic about money and how we are going to cope when Im on mat leave..Im so worried about it.. I know people say you cope but on paper it doesn’t look good!!
Had a good productive day yesterday, finished doing the lining paper in the Nursery all ready to paint then spent the rest of the day making the garden look less like a Jungle! Felt exhausted last night but nice to have a productive day!

Hope everybody else is ok xx

Happy 27 weeks Julie, can't beleive so many do you will be heading for tri 3 this week! Makes me feel scared that time is going to fast and I will be there in 2 and a bit weeks, eek!

Welcome back babygirl :)

I understand the money worries being on maternity leave aswell Clare, although I won't be losing as much this time around as on,y part time. It was really tough going from my full time wage to mat pay with Harry, but everyone is right you somehow manage. We had good months and then bad ones where we had to use the credit card for food, but we did ok.

I'm still in a lot of pain, but kinda getting used to it now. Just done my last 3 night shifts in a row, woohoo! Just spoke to my boss and she has agreed to drop me to 2 shifts a week and to sometimes try and break them up a bit so I'm not doing 2 in a row all the time. Feel gutted that to drop my shifts I've had to start mat leave at 35weeks instead of 38wks, but using my holiday so my pay is uneffected for the next 3 months. Only 19 shifts til maternity leave :D xx

Happy 27 weeks Julie! How exciting tri3!!

Kanga, that is so close now :) I'm sorry you had to do it because of pain, it is frustrating when things don't quite go to plan, but I hope those shifts go quickly for you!

Clare, I am the main earner in the household with hubby working less and earning less, and am entitled to smp, nothing additional from employer and apart from buying food and petrol I won't be doing anything else once the pay drops from 90% to £136pw! It is scary, but if you have thought about it and put it on paper, it will be possible even when it's tough. Kanga, I am going to get a 0% purchases credit card before I go on mat leave just in case, and then can delay paying it all off until I am back at work. It is good to have a back up.

I have my glucose tolerance test tomorrow morning...I am wondering how I will go so long without food! lol xx

Thank Kanga….yes I suppose you do just adapt don’t you..Im just worried about any emergencies that might come up with cars or the house or anything…
Ah glad that they are going to look at you shifts, that should help… its good too that you will get to use the holiday so your pay wont be affected, that will really help!

Ah thanks Ali, it is worrying isn’t it.. Hubs and I earn pretty much the same but he commutes about 100 miles each day so a chunk of his wage is eaten up with petrol which is so annoying…
I only get SMP too, its such a massive drop isn’t it, really hard to know how we will survive on it but I guess if worse comes to the worse I can always go back to work early…I was hoping for 9 months off but just don’t know if it will be financially possible..
A 0% credit card is a good idea as a fall back..

Ah good luck for your Glucose test tomorrow…Oh I don’t blame you, I get antsy if I cant eat every couple of hours!!

xx
