I voted! He's georgous! Is he yours?

My pram arrived, spent about 3 hours putting it together/changing it from pushchair to pram with the matrix/learning how it works.

I'm knackered now and my back hurts. Sod waiting till the baby arrives to buy a pram, you need them early on so you've got the energy to put them together and the time to learn how to use them.

It's fab though :D

Morning ladies

Hope everyone is well.

Final mad bit of cleaning today before hubby's family arrive from Liverpool for Jamie's party! His parents are coming with his two nieces and then his brother and wife and new baby are coming on Sunday morning for the party. Anyway we haven't got the room for them all to sleep here as the spare room is pulled to bits getting it ready for baby, so we have had to book his parents into a hotel for the 2 nights, but they have said we can have the hotel room tonight and have a meal in the hotel :cheer: Really looking forward to it as it is the hotel were we got married.

Only downside is that hubby has to leave on Sun after the party cos he is going to Milton Keynes on his course :( Jamie's birthday is actually Mon so he won't see him open his prezzies or anything. We are both gonna really miss him.

Anyway back to my mad woman cleaning, hope you all have a good weekend and I will try to post some pics from the party.

I know all about mad cleaning. We had OH's brother staying with us a couple days ago and I was in a panic for days before trying to get my hole of a home looking presentable. I've been really lazy and sloppy with the cleaning of late

Hope you enjoy your night in the hotel. I love staying in hotels :D Hope Jamie enjoys his birthday too, you'll have to get a new ticker for him soon!

I was at work this morning but have the afternoon off. James has gone to a friends house for tea so I have peace :cheer:

Morning! :D

James has got an advent calander too. I tried to pursuade him to get a cadbury's one but he insisted on a yukky kinnerton one cos it had a spiderman design. At least I won't be tempted to steal his choccy

Il have to save all the turkish delight ones for you! MM why havent you got yourself one? NEVER too old for advent calenders!!!

Shopping was horrible, I cried on the way home. 5 hours of walking round the shops was horrible, on a good note Ive finished all mine now.

Thanks Tilly!! I've been shopping today and although it was busy I had a good time, I didn't take the girls with me so there was no hassle and I bught myself the christmas limited addition Lip Gloss YAY .

How come shopping was horrible for you???

It didn't even cross my mind to buy myself one! Not bothered though cos I've been eating choccy almost every day recently, and why have a little advent choccy when you can have a whole bar :D

Sorry to hear you had a bad time shopping. I try and avoid shopping on a saturday myself, can't be bothered with the crowds. Have been doing some online xmas shopping today from the comfort of my sofa.

Hello Ladies how is everyone today im in a good mood today i just booked my panto tickets  i love the theatre but oh hates it but as i havent been out much since being pregnant he said he would compromise and take me to the panto.

I used to go shopping in Canterbury when I lived in Kent. It was always horrible around christmas time  One of the hardest places to shop I think!
Where abouts in Kent do you live? x

I live in Faversham which is 10 mins away from Canterbury on train...although you probably know this :) Ive worked in Canterbury for years up until recently and now I work ( when I turn up ) in Sittingbourne. Where abouts did you used to live hun?

I used to live in Canterbury, went to uni there :D It's a georgous little place.

No I've been good and packed it away, the chassis is folded up in a corner of James' room (cos his rooms massive and he gets lost in it anyway), and the carseat and seat fabric are back in the boxes to stop them getting dusty.
I felt like an idiot when it was up in one piece cos I couldn't stop looking at it, or pushing it around the living room

We went to see Cindrella last year Bloom, and we really enjoyed it, probably more than James did :D

  Well done MM for resisting.
Im going to see Jack and the Beanstalk im so excited.

Hows everyone getting on with their xmas shopping im making slow progress ive got a few days off this week so im hoping to get most of it done.

oh the excitment is killing me :)
hope you all have a better day then me planned
manda xx

p.s im ill aswell woke up can hardly breathe and swallow :(

Hope you're feeling better soon Manda, it's so much harder being ill when pg, especially because you can't take any over the counter remedies to help.

I've got work this afternoon, can't be bothered with work anymore. My brain is rubbish at the moment, have become forgetful and make mistakes since being pregnant. I can't wait till maternity leave starts, got another 3 months yet though :wall:

OH and I went shopping in Toys R Us after the scan yesterday. Bought all James' birthday and xmas pressies, so just got his stocking stuff to buy now.

We bought him loads of Lego mars mission, star wars toys, transformers, a simpsons edition of the game operation (he loves the simpsons!), the game Guess Who and a spider man web blaster.

We bought ourselves the 90's edition of Trivial Pursuit to play over the xmas holiday. We've already got the genus edition but struggle to answer any questions! You can't beat trivial pursuit at xmas :D

Have bought OH's pressies but can't say what they are cos he reads this forum when he thinks I'm not looking :lol

Still got to write out the card, buy for both our families and get the food in...so much to do, so little time!

Hiya!

Haven't been around over the weekend as we had the in-laws visiting, Jamie's party and hubby had to leave for Milton Keynes for work on Sun.

Everything has been so hectic, but can relax now and catch up with posts.

I have basically got everything done for christmas now, just need to get a few bits and pieces and hubby's prezzies. Haven't got any food in yet though :?

Anyway, gonna go and catch up on what's been going on, hope you all have a good day :D

Hi Fiona  I hope Jamie enjoyed his birthday :D

I was at work this afternoon and got a call from the shool saying James was ill so could I pick him up. Apparantly he'd been lying on the floor complaining of stomach ache.

So I went to get him (luckily I work 10 mins walk from the school) and once we're walking home he tells me he isn't really ill, he was just kidding cos he didn't want to go to the after school club!

I've had words with him about telling lies, and no one believing him when he really is ill so hopefully he won't do this again
At least it means I can play 2 player on Lego starwars on the ps3 with him rather than be at work :cheer:

Going to make a start on my xmas cards later
