Question for those who have had 12 week scan

Did you take your maternity notes with you to the scan?

Not sure if I need to take them with me.

Yes as they get the information they need from them...
... I take my notes to any appointment, even the Dentist in case they are needed...

I was debating whether to take mine or not cos all info was on the letter I had to take,I didn't really need them,the sonographer wrote my new edd on but no1 else in the waitin room had brought there's. I always think it's better to have them and not need them then leave them at home xxx

that is strange, although at clinic they always take my notes off me...

Oh in York its different! The MW filled in the green booklet for me at my booking in appointment and told me that I would be given the green booklet when I went for my 12 week scan and that after that, it was my responsibility to make sure that I took the booklet with me everywhere I went. I had to buy a new bigger bag specially for it

I took mine to both scans and they didn't take them off me. They said they didn't need them! I was gutted as I wanted to look up the measurements snd stuff on them.. Seems everyone has those details except me! What's the point having the scan info section in the booklet if they're not going to write in there? Probably just my hospital though!!

wierd how each area does something different-i have to hand them in everywhere i go then they give it back to me once im ready to go home lol x

all my scans have been seperate print outs as reports... some of the pages do seem a waste of space (and paper)

I've got a big yellow booklet that I was told to take everywhere, but I need to get myself a smaller bag cos when this one is full it's too heavy for me, not bigger one!! Oh well!!

Yeah i took them with me whenever i go to the hospital or to my drs i take my notes with me x

Take them def - I checked when I made the appointment with the lady over the phone as i thought I might forget them as it was for 840am on a school day! So she said oh no you won't need them.

When I got there, I was really told off, and it's not my first child , so I should know better !

Thank you for the recommendations. It was good that I took them. The sonographer wrote my 20 week scan date in them and put my scan report in the file
