I know they couldn't see anything, but that isn't so bad esp as you've ovulated later then norm.

I've read about eptopic pregnancy today and it said thy don't normally cause pain until about 8weeks, so it sounds more like a ruptured cyst (which can also cause abit of bleedind), although they can be seen on early scans because the tube is normaly swollen.

so reading that things seem quite possitive, really hope you feel better soon and the pain subsides

Sami. I had a suspected eptopic at 8 weeks and it is scary . However I was told by my Dr that ectopic pregnancies are usually detected around 7-9 weeks as before then the baby is too small to cause pain so hopefully it is just strong stretching pains. Keep us updated.

 

I was told that aswell, but with the pain they have to keep it in their minds I guess. Fingers crossed for monday we are put at rest.

 

Went back at 3pm for more blood to be taken. Might get the results today or I might have to ring EPU tomorrow after 8:30am to get them. Hoping no news means good news.

Hi Sami,

I am so sorry babe, I really hope the bloods you had done today bring good news tomorrow

I was also told that at this stage it would be too early to diagnose and ectopic, as I went to my GP early on with one sided pains.................even when I went in hospital 2 weeks ago when they prodded I still had that one sided pain.........

I have my fingers crossed babe and really hope this is all just part of the early stages for you!!
