Princess81 in early labour - updated from our amazing Princess81 on pg 22! xx

Glad it sounds like its dying down which is good. Shame you have to be on a ward when really what you need is proper rest. Hope you get home soon and pea stays where he/she for a while longer.

Hope pea decides to stay put Hun, its horrible when you get different opinions of different professionals! xx

You'll certainly have an interesting story to tell to your little one when he or she asks you what it was like when he/she was in your tummy.... I'm sure it must be frustrating to be told different things by different consultants, but it's still brilliant news that your baby has, after all, decided to stay put for now. And it's probably for the best to stay overnight, where they can keep a proper eye on you and make sure baby and you are both ok. Hope you manage to get some sleep!

I'm starting to not like consultants very much

Glad you and baby are fine  hope you get home soon xxxxxxxxxxxx

Aw thank you girls  the person in the bay next to me has got bloody Kirsty's home improvements or whatever it is on full volume. The girl opposite has her mate and her o/h there AND the tv on a different channel. The post natal ward is joined to this so there are screaming babas (may as well get used to that) and midwives cackling :wall: I had more chance of sleeping on the labour ward where I was last night - bar the poor girl in the room next to me who actually sounded like something off the excorcist during her labour - scary!!! God I sound like a grumpy bitch don't I? I only got an hours sleep last night though cos of my own contractions  oh god someone has gone on the gas n air as well so it sounds like dearth vader's on the ward now
I will quit my bitching and be happy that it seems I'll have a better cooked pea at the end of all this :)

I know I said I thought you'd have LO early hun but this is silly!! ;)

Glad things seem to have calmed down!

Lxx

bless...glad you still got your sense of humour :) xx

so very glad you are doing ok Princess!!! xx

Glad you and pea are doing ok Princess - if you are at the Royal Victoria in Belfast they do have some private rooms I was told about at my appoinment - if you find it really difficult to sleep you should ask to be moved to Johnston House (assuming you are at the Royal that is). Otherwise I hope you manage to have a restful night and get home tomorrow x

No I'm in Antrim Hun it was the closest place with available neo natal for the baby if they arrive
Just heard a fella ask for a private room cos of the noise but he was told no chance
But yes the meds do seem to have worked **touches loads of wood** yesterday was scary - the pain I could deal with but pea is not cooked properly yet although sounds like they will be a wee chubster!! X

Oh my god you bitch and moan as much as you want to hun you've earned it! So glad LO decided to stay put for a while longer :D xx
