Pregnacare, Sanatogen or Wellman/woman?

Hi Everyone,

Since we didn't get anywhere with cycle 3 we've decided to look at multivits for both of us this cycle. I've had a brief look on line and there seems to be loads of vitamin supplements for women who are trying to concieve but not many for men. So far I've found:

Sanatogen mother and father to be
Pregnacare his and hers
Wellman conception & wellwoman conception

Do any of you use these and which would you recommend?

Are there any others availble that you have tried that are any good?

I have read that you can just take a general multivit plus folic acid for women and zinc for men. Are these conception specialist ones any better?

I'm taking pregnacare conception and OH is taking wellman. to be honest i think both of these brands are the same cos the are made by the same manufacurer!

i'm getting on great with them, so i would advise them.

even though my wee turned bright yellow!

I started off with pregnacare but have now switched to just folic acid, my husband was originally taking no vitamins as he is extremely healthy, but we're on a TTC mission now rofl and he's demanded that he start on the zinc tablets.

Exactly the same for me and DH. Boots has a three for two on all vits not long back. Tesco had the same only last week. Worth looking out for the offers coz the pregnancy/fertility stuff can get quite expensive.

I use the Pregnacare Conception for me and Wellman for hubby and not had any isues with them at all, although i do recommend taking them last thing at night and not first thing in the morning because they can make me a bit gaggy

me and hubby take - pregnacare conception his+hers and on 3for2 can stock up for few months- i like them but yeah turns wee bright yellow but only you see it so whats the prob!

Thanks guys, I do like the idea of the his and hers, it feels like they compliment each other. I'm sure that's just a marketing ploy though! Will see what I can get on 342 in boots on way to work this morning.
