I may have, probably might off, maybe definately lost my maternity notes! Ok I know that that's extremely stupid of me and careless etc etc but when we moved we hadn't quite packed everything so I was literally scooping stuff into boxes, bags etc as we were moving and my notes have gone walkies! Sooooo my question is who do I contact? Do I phone my midwife, my doctors surgery or my maternity ward (bearing in mind my numbers for mw and hospital are ON my maternity notes)! Any ideas?

oh dear, um, I guess i would ring the surgery and see if they can give you the number for your midwife? or do an internet search on the hospital maternity ward etc and see if there is anyone that can help?

good luck with it all. i'm sure they will understand what with you moving etc. plus, they should have copies of all this info themselves too...? xx

No way! They've copies of your notes at the hospital so I assume that it shouldn't matter too much... There's details on mine as to where to send/hand in any notes that have been found by passers by so hopefully someone honest will pick them up and you'll get them back x

eeek! I hope they turn up soon! Hospital keep separate notes of all the important info anyway so dont worry!

Oh no - get unpacking Helen, it must be in one of those last boxes, as there the sort of thing that would get packed at the end.

did you find it yet at all, what did hosp say, sure they have most copied ?

lol i lost mine and the hosp had me in a frenzy saying they would go mental at me ... they didnt they just done a duplicate copy and i had an extra thick file and it was no prob they laughed it off xx

Well I called maternity this morning and the sister I spoke to was really nice and she left me printouts at the reception and told me not to worry as it's not the first time it's happened x relief isn't the word! He he x I'm so stupid! We've unpacked and notes aren't anywhere to be found! Hey ho x have new midwife appointment now for Tuesday x phew!
