hi ladies. We had sex sunday and ovulation is near. Still not quite sure whether I should get pregnant this month due to potential redundancy (but the decision may have already been made due to sex lol. I was due to ovulate sunday/Monday or today. There has been a strong test line the last 2 days but not quite a positive I don't think. These pics were taken seconds apart. I think the test line is definitelty lighter than control in real life but it's close. am I ovulating?

Princess i think that's definitely your peak, it looks as dark as the control line. Which means your about to ovulate in the next 24/48 hours.
So DTD tonight and the next 2 days will mean you have fully covered yourself. On the other hand if you want to avoid it i wouldn't DTD for the next few days. x

Thanks both. it's not as dark in real life. I took those tests yesterday at around 2pm so when is my 'ovulation day'. The likely redundancies will not be known until February so I don't wish to wait until then. so I might just get on it lol! hoping I haven't missed my ovulation now. I had sex sudnay evening and won't get the chance now until tonight

Have you done anymore tests since that one yesterday afternoon? You should continue testing at least twice a day near ov time until you get your positive. X

i would say ovulation will be anytime from now until tomorrow. Keep doing your opks until it is same colour or darker.
If you are going for it baby dance tonight and then next 2 days a break and then 1 extra time. Good luck x

I did one at 8pm which was the same. I haven't this morning yet as I know that the fmu isn't great for ov tests. I don't need a wee now.

So is yesterday or today my ovulation day do you think? Handy to know which day to class as opvulation when working out when to take p test

Yesterday is definitely not your ov day. Your ov day will be 24/48 hours after you get your peak. If you input all this information into your app (when you get your positive opks) it will work it out for you. But by the looks of it (you say the line isnt as dark in real life) you haven't had your peak yet so you will not have ovulated yet.

I do an opk with FMU, then 2pm and then 7pm when i know ov is near. Because your lines are getting so dark you should be doing the same so you catch the surge.

ok, so just done this... is it darker or lighter than yesterday? is my true positive still to come. This is the result after about 20mins

Id say that was the same colour as the control line, what does it look like in real life?
if it looks the same as it does in the photo i would class that as your peak and baby dance for the next 3 days skip a day and then another day x

its not as dark as the control line in real life. I'm on cycle day 16 today (normal cycle is around 29days)

Yes it's the same test. It's definitely lighter in real life. Thanks

Keep testing with OPKs and see if they get any darker, if they don't and get lighter, then you know your surge is over and ov is imminent or has already happened x

Princess just babydance for the next 3 nights, 1 night break and then go again 1 more time and you have definitely covered yourself.

I'm 7 or 8dpo and yesterday and today i've had what can only be described as Braxton Hicks type cramps. I've also felt a bit nauseous and quite tired. 1 week until AF so i'm hoping these are all good signs

Ovulated this morning, opks and temping have helped me idebtify the pain i get when i ovulate. Didnt manage to bd yesterday but did the day before and managed to bd tonight. Countdown to testing officially begins.

It's all sounding very promising for those left with the ovulating and the twinges and pulling feelings. So it's been a week now since I tested, I keep poas as I'm still quite nervous but seeing the line changing really feels quite nice. Pic is last weds and this morning. 4 ten hours shifts to go and then I think I'm done on the road. I had to pee like 6 times in my 12 hour shift yesterday and I kept getting brain freeze, like I literally couldn't get my words out it was weird!
