Oh its ok lovely it's been eluding the medical profession for years has my cervix mind you it weren't funny several years ago when they was trying to get a smear and had me upside down in a special chair with a speculum shoved upside down in me fanjita - i nearly needed bloody gas n air that day n even then they couldn't do a smeer! took a very lovely german lady locum doctor with very gentle hands to manage it in the end she did have extraordinarily long fingers too LOL! she didn't know what the problem was they'd all been having cos she found it straight away n got smeer first attempt!

I was told me cervix is quite far back is that the same thing?! Though not as far as yours obviously lmao! Never had that much trouble with smears etc!

Right the hunt is on for this German woman with the very gentle hand & extraordinarily long fingers!! We will not stop til we find her!!!! She can carry out your sweep for you hun.

I've done all the housework & changed my bed again this morning, so you can guarentee my waters will break all over the clean bedding tonight, I hope so anyway!

Nothing for me today though, hardly any contractions - been at my Mom's this afternoon being looked after & had lunch cooked for me.

i had my show this morning...before everytime i got heavy discharge i thought oh i bet thats it..but there was no doubt in this...and since i had it i dont know if im just exagerating but my bump just feels lower and i feel more pressure i my pelvis..im due to go to cosultat tomorrow and they wud of done a stretch and sweap but i guess they dont need to do that now having the show has made me feel so much calmer and excited about the birth im looking forward to the first pain..(i know ill regret saying that lol) i wounder how long it will be now as im 41 week tomorrow (mon 10th nov)

Morning Girlies

Well we thought it was all kicking off again in the night, pains were really bad for about 2 hours & then they must've worn off as i've just woke & feeling ok although I do feel very period-pain-achey under bump & in my back, i'm planning on taking DD to the Wakey Warehouse today for a play & some lunch as she just sits here & watches me on the Laptop & i'm sure she's getting as fed up/bored as me.. bless her. She just keeps saying 'Mommy is Ruby ready to come out now? she's got no more weeks left!!' (been counting down on our hands for 10 weeks.)

I'm just frightened to go anywhere or drive in case things start suddenly & i'll be stuck somewhere, midwife said Labour MAY start suddenly & be quick as i've been in slow labour for all this time.

Anyway, how you doing Fly? Hope you had a nice night!!!!

Mornin honey

Well just before i went to bed last night i had even more plug come away I am in total shock as to how much mucus one fanjita can produce in all honesty!!!! been losing plug since last wednesday and each time i've thought oh thats it all gone now...and nooooo i get even more coming away yeah so anyways had a big show - the biggest yet was bloody gross! Went to bed.. OH performed brilliantly which considering half the country knew what he had to do last night was bloody amazing really I led on me left handside afterwards like the midwife said n then when i got up an hour and a half laters for a wee i had another huge show... i mean for crying out loud thats gotta be it all come away now!!!! Then i was having contractions on and off through the night some of which were bloody painful but since i got up have had nothing I think i will cry tomorrow if they tell me my cervix is still posteriour after all of that

I got one more thing to try...castor oil and i really don't wanna go down that road.. i ave tried absolutely everything else to get this baby moving... gotta go down town laters to get some money out and provide some proof of earnings to the housing benefit people so hopefully that may get things going again...

Ruth hun i so sorry that you are goin through the same thing but I also so glad that we got each other to support each other through this nightmare of waiting for things to start.. i think i would've gone completely radio rental by now if i didn't have someone else goin through the same thing

maybe our babies will come today!!!!

He's a good 'un, give him a pat on the back! I've told OH we will have to try this tonight & he doesn't seem very keen, not had it since started having shows last week, he said he can't stand the thought with my cervix being dialted & waters bulging! but i'm sure I could convince him later. I'll get the sexy undies out with my big belly sticking out, that should get him started..........not!

I really don't think I could do this one, i've been sicky thoughout this pregnancy & really couldn't put myself thorough anyway . Good luck if you try it though.

My friend has taken DD out for the afternoon, rather than me having to go out, so just going to have a nice bath & read my preggers mags.

Enjoy your bath lovely I just got back from town - treated meself to lunch out and a lump of malachite which is apparantley known as the midwife's stone... its rather pretty - dark green and feels nice to hold - dunno if it'll do any good whatsoever but it said in the book that its known as the midwives stone cos it helps facilitate childbirth - that sold it for me

awww Ruth mate all i got to report is that little man's head is now fully engaged but the sweep was unsuccessful.. cos my bloodybuggeringsoddding cervix is still posteriour and hard she did say though that its starting to soften but not enough for her to get her finger in - she's had a bloody good poke about though to try n help as much as she can my friend is on her way over from south wales to take me out for the day bless her
Anyone heard from emsmum? hopin the no news means she's all cozied up with her little one in her arms eh

That was after a bumpy 4 x 4 ride to Avebury stone circle and back again - a huge plate of sausage n mash - fresh air n sunshine - cuddles n kisses n silliness with my friend's one year old daughter and a sit on the lady stone down avebury til me bum got cold

*star* will keep you all posted - i'll text her in a bit when i know what's what but i really do think u might just see a labour thread for me within the next couple of hours - just waitin for me parents to arrive

Waters are green so i gotta go in a minute up the unit for monitoring - am having mild contractions so hopefully am contracting well and can stay at the birthing unit but if not then i will have to go to the RUH in Bath...

Loads of labour dust and love to Ruth and Sarah i bloody well hope that this almost full moon brings you two into labour right behind me i really do
