i can't walk another step... we've walked into town down the biggest steepest hill, we've had fry up, we've walked all round town, we've walked a mile along the river and back again, we've walked back from town up the biggest set of steps and i tell ya the last half a mile has been hard fookin work!!! am now armed with three new magazines, some anti-oxidising posh juice and sweets from julian graves and the intention to do absolutely SWEET F.A for the rest of the day!!! CUMMON BABY!!!!

yep that's the one and very same hill Lea well i been down that hill every day for weeks and weeks... man it hurts but its gooooood hurt!!! goin up it today nearly bloody crippled me but i did it hahaha

Little update:
Don't think its gonna be too much longer before i'm texting Claire (*star*) to start a labour thread lol
Been having frequent yet irregular contractions without a break since yesterday tea-time - managed to get some dribs and drabs of sleep n stopped timing through the night just to relax really.. started timing again at 9am

they entirely bareable n still not too regular yet i think to say yeah am gettin towards active labour... would like to think i might be a few cm dilated though tis my birthday today

Hi. I had show earlier this week and have been getting bh which are really hurting my pelvic area by putting alot of pressure down there.

I was induced at 7 days over with my dd 8 years ago so i cant really remember how everythings meant to feel if that makes sense!

Wicked news re: the show hope you not waiting too much longer hun i know how u feel bout not rememberin or in my case not knowin how things is sposed to feel lol charlie was born by emergency c-section at 6 weeks early so i never even went into labour with him and feel like such a noob x x x x

Im so excited! I cant wait for the labour thread later on today!!
My contractions with my second never fell into a set pattern! One would be 3 minutes, one would be 5 minutes etc etc ! I was unsure for a while whether it was labour lol but they hurt so bad at the end I just knew and went in!
Good luck hun! Hopefully by the end of today you will have you LO in your arms! Hows that for a birthday present!! Or maybe babs will wait until after midnight lol! Might not want to share birthdays heehee

awww thankyou honey you've just said exactly what the midwife said just now when i phoned her actually bout second babies not always falling into a set pattern of contractions... i told her what they were doing n she said well don't sit there waiting for the regular pattern cos it quite often never happens with second babies she says that it sounds to her like i'm in early labour and to not worry too much bout the frequency of tightenings - to phone when i like and to go in when i've had a few that are really really ouchy i texted star to let her know but she drivin at the moment so i thinks she'll start a thread when she gets home again yayyy am in labour

I've been up all night aswell with really bad pains (no pattern either) & my back is absolute agony, just got my mom to go & hire me a Tens Machine from Boots so just going to have a nice bath & stick it on!

Baby was so active last night I was convinced that she was getting ready to come out......no such luck . Can't wait to see your Labour thread start Fly.

Good Luck with everything hun, i'll be thinking of you & your Grandma will be there to look down on it all.

Well nothing to report this morning, slept reasonably well only had 2/3 pains that woke me come on pain train .

I threw my tea up last night and have had several good clear outs this morning - ave just phoned the unit and asked if i can go up for this stretch n sweep if at all possible today cos mum n dad up to their eyeballs in funeral arrangements tomorrow so today would be so convenient and tomorrow wouldn't lol - just waitin for the midwife to phone me back and discuss....
