I'm due 29th Oct (tomorrow )

Next midwife appointment is Friday 31st Oct

Not really felt anything major, a few pains & tightenings but thats about it I'm expecting something very dramatic like a show or a huge eruption of my waters

If i have not gone naturally by Friday (don't think I will as I have no signs ) I will get an induction date for early next week, hospital don't want to let me go to far over because of blood problems so at least I know I don't have long to wait, I would rather go naturally though.

aww hope you LO comes naturally hun, can your m/w offer you a weep to get things moving along a lil.. ooooh Due tomorrow, its soo wierd isnt it, you wait 9months 9well 40weeks) thinking your LO will arrive before Due date, you never really think about going over due (well i didnt lol)

you kinda just presume everything will go as the paper says hehe...

lets hope you go into spontanious labour hehe..

(is it just me, or do you go to sleep hoping you'll wake up with contractions lol)? xxx

i think my Lo was concieved on 11th/12th Feb which makes me due date 17tr november lol..
oh ek whats happened here..

oh i Know i know... dont forget your "pregnant" for 2weeks before you've even concieved lol..

eg.. when you find out your pregnant usually 2weeks after conception, your "4weeks pregnant"

i think thats why we were gettin confused lol.. hahaha... PREGANCY BRAIN.. will it ever be the same again lol..

is that why so many babys are late? xxx

Charlotte for some reason I think I'm gonna go into labour during the night, if I wake up at nothings happened I think 'well he's obviously not coming today then' obviously I still have the rest of the day but expect it to happen during the night

lol i think EXACTLY the same lol.. i always think if hes not come in middle of night hes def not coming..

i just had another bit of show.. "blood discharge" and period pains

but i also had exact same over 2weeks ago, so i not counting on it lol xx

Well I think it's been a false alarm for me this evening as i've had really bad BH contractions on & off from 5.30pm til 7.00pm. My heart seemed to be racing too.

3 in the space of 10 mins then started writing them down -

*17:42
*17:44
*17:47
*17:53
*17:57
*183
*18:24
*18:39
*18:51
*18:54
*193

Then nothing since!! & feel totally normal again

No other symptoms but BH's deffo felt different to the usual BH's I feel

We'll see if they progress in the night.

Well the above happened on Sunday evening, then there was nothing!

Yesterday woke up with a 'strange' feeling - hard to described but felt really anxious & had butterflies all day. Went to lunch at a friends then came home feeling even worse, then i was sooooo sick, like i've never been sick before, & i've felt sick since
6pm contractions started up again like on the Sunday - but alot more painful - these continued until 3am this morning but in no pattern - very irregular.

Rang midwife to see if I could be seen today as i've not got an appointment til Wed 5th now & she said to call delivery suite & they told me to go down for check over, so been at hospital all morning on the monitor still having irregular contractions, they did all usual test & all was ok apart from protein in wee but no other symptoms so they sent me home & told me to rest - yeah right with a 3 & a half year old to look after!! - they said i'm in slow labour so anything could happen anytime soon!

I'll post up if I have any progress!!

5th november tho originally 23rd oct by lmp but i know this doesnt count.
mw tomorrow at 39w
6weeks of discharge, did poo alot at one point! but stopped now, having more BH about 30 a day, have about 3 with period pains and these have been happening the last 10days so i think they will continue to the end now
T+12 so the latest for me is november 17th

im feeling really good and dont think our baby is coming anytime soon! iv been so lucky this pregnancy and so im not in too much of a hurry just yet! so will send u other girls some of my labour dust! only 2 days left at work for me- i cant believe i wont have to go in after thursday!
any halloween babies does anyone think??

peanut.. hope your LO doesnt keep you waiting long.. i'm certain i'm going to go over due too.. do you feel more relaxed about his/her arrival now you've past the "date" as i'm approaching it, i'm more focusing on it'll be no more than 3weeks.. xx

Thanks Charlotte! To be honest I felt quite relaxed before my due date but now it's passed I keep jumping at every little twinge!

Just back from my MW appointment, bubs still head down but not engaged now
Booked in for induction next Tuesday night (4th Nov) if nothing happens before then - eek! Bonfire night baby for me
Not sure if I'm happy or terrified about idea of an induction yet

i've been watching alot about inductions, and they dont seem to bad, its just the fact it sends you into labour when your body may not be ready.. but i just think, will it ever be ready for something like that anyway?
i honestly think induction isnt too bad, but others may tell you different.. lets hope your lil gets a wriggle on before that date tho chick..

m/w just came to see me, as i had a lil bleed.. she didnt do internal, but she said everythings ok, and LO is now 1/5th engaged... no wonder i feel like i'm sitting on a melon lol...

i dont know if this means he'll come soon or not? i'm clueless lol xxx

Good to hear you're little one is starting to engage and that all is fine after the bleed. I was 1/5 engaged at my last appointment 3 weeks ago but now 5/5 palpable again which I'm guessing means little one has un-engaged again Not really thinking anything of it though as it's a different midwife I seem to see everytime and some seem much more confident than others. Had a student one first today who said she had no idea what way baby was lying

I'm sure our little ones will be here when they're good and ready!

thats a big jump from engaged to not..?
i've been told brim 3/5th free 2/5ths 1/5th so i agree completly, it depends on the middy..
aww bless the student, they all gotta start somewhere, hehe they always seem ded nice when i have student in room.. my middy asked could i have student in birth room, i know it sounds cruel but i jumped and splurted no straight away lol.. i dont want anyone there, let alone pple who dont need to be lol..

hope ur lil one decides to come out sooner rather than later hehe...
all this symtom spotting is driving me insane lol xxx

i think i get you, you do it other way round than me and my notes hehe..
i say 5/5ths is Free and 0/5ths is fully engaged...

i think i'm just lucky, as i sit in the worst positions possible, and lye down most of day, where as pple who tend to sit up right etc usually have better chance apparently..
try gettin on all fours.. (your other would love this lol)

the midwife who came to mine today was soooo scary.. she said now my cervix is favourable sex will help, i giggled, she didntthink it was funny, she acted like a strict teacher, well scared of her lol xx

i need to catch up birth stories too, congratulations ani!

had mw appt today and antenatal meet up. mw said next wednesday they book my induction date and i get offered a stretch and sweep inbetween that time, i cant believe it!!
no symptoms for me excpet what iv already had so i expect my induction date to be my babies birthday- or the next day!

its my last day at work tomorrow, im so pleased i hung on to the end, i expect ill start getting impatient once im off like everyone else!

anymore october babies what do we think??

It was my due date today yet still no baby!! I really wanted him to arrive today aswell! I'm just getting the occasional cramps, I'm pretty sure he is not ready to leave yet.

I would like an October baby but its looking unlikely!

Gerb i cant believe how you've worked till now? how u manage that one? wish i'd tried a lil longer, as i got really bored, but i kinda did need the rest tho with my SPD..

louxlouxbellex i hope you get your october baby hun, even tho mi'm not due till monday i really wanted october i'm greedy, but alot of my family are october babys and i liked te idea of it lol.. daft reason i know...

i had abit of bleed other day, (prob a show) and muscus since... but nothing else the same thing happened on 12th october, so i'm not gettin my hopes up, just gotta think of somethin else to keep me occupied, but with no car (garage taking p*ss) i cant even leave house
