ive decided im goin to tell midwife i want inducing as a last resort so if the sweep thurs doesnt work nor the one sat then instead of goin in mon for induction then im goin to ask for another sweep and then take it from there, i sooooo dont want to be induced

also does anyone know how many days over they stop your home birth?

i will ask her thurs but just wondered

been being sick all day, not been able to keep anything down.
lost more plug earlier on and about 30 minutes after that had a contraction, then i went for a lie down, woke up about an hour later in agony.

so 2 contractions 2 an a half hours apart and nothing since, ha

feeling really grotty though

Nothing for me today, I've been up half of the night again with chest pains again (I can't believe I have pain but it isn't labour sign related!!! )

tezzy..at least you have the start of some signs..hope you get some more hun.

I'm sending labour dust to you becky. Really hope you don't have to be induced if you are so worried about it...I'm expecting that I'll have to be induced too so I sort of know how you feel, tho I imagine the worry gets worse the more overdue you are.

I'm off to the doctors today to see if they can give me something for this hideous rash all over my belly...I look like a freak and itch like mad!!!

Good luck girls!

I have been doing a hell of a lot of reading and research online. I think that you should all sit upright, breathe and try to relax your tummy as much as possible. A relaxed tummy makes the baby able to move down further and further. An engaged baby is *suppose* to trigger labour easier than a non engaged baby.

Also, do the rocking on a chair...or on or over a birth ball....as it can open your pelvis up to 4 cm!

If all else fails, stimulate your nipples while rocking

On a serious note, I think really preparing your body could get things going

Becky that the sweep works for you hun, don't worry yet about being induced you've got time yet I know its hard but try and pop to the back of your mind. I feel the same but am trying not to think about it they will prob want to induce me on monday will find out on friday but if i'm ok and baby ok then i'm going to wait i really really want to give birth in the MW led unit.

I'm fed up today there's loads of things i want to do and that needs doing.. the garden is a mess and really needs mowing i've got weeds all over my drive way and it's really getting me down but i just don't think i'll be able to manage it!.. need a big strong man to help me

Want to take dog for walk aswel but really don't feel that confident today to be out on my own..just feel like crying would go back to bed but i've been in there for a week!!

Sorry to moan am just feeling sorry for myself..
