just been told my my friend this morning that they now wont induce you before 42 weeks... that means i could still be pregnant a week on wednesday

Ask your Mw hun. Mine said 12 days, but maybe it depends on where you live. (however 12 days is pretty close to 42 weeks!! )

my midwifes clinic is booked up 2moro so soonest would be wed and im booked in for a sweep thurs morning so might as well leave it at that, you never know bump might appear before then - yehhhhhhhhh right

i had my sweep tuesday afternoon and started with contractions thursday morning. the sweeps only work if your bodys ready to have the baby though so it could mean the sweep might work quicker or take longer

i had my sweep today/yesterday(mon 2nd june) i was 8 days over,getting induced 2moro if nothing happens,only allowed 1 lot of gel though,so could end up with a c-section,nit too bothered just want to meet my baby now xxxxxxxxxx

they were going to give me a sweep last thursday but wouldnt as his head was totally free.
im booked for one this thursday, and they said they'll leave me till sunday to be induced. all assuming hes engaged.
if not, someone will be washing up in my tummy

no signs at all for me

ive decided im goin to tell midwife i want inducing as a last resort so if the sweep thurs doesnt work nor the one sat then instead of goin in mon for induction then im goin to ask for another sweep and then take it from there, i sooooo dont want to be induced

also does anyone know how many days over they stop your home birth?

i will ask her thurs but just wondered

I don't know about the home birth Becky but my MW said as long as labour comes on natural (not induced) and me and bubs ok i'll be fine to go to the MW led unit. Otherwise i'd have to go to the hospital part

Don't know! .. i'm so getting fed up of cleaning my home tho, keep thinking this will be last time i do the bathroom/wash bedding etc before baby comes now i'm here doing it all again! Can't be long for us now tho. Surely...... xx

I really feel for you over due girls...I hope it isn't much longer for you.

I have 5 days to my due date but I feel totally fed up today!! I'm normally ok but I just feel emontional and don't have any signs whatsoever!

Just got back from the midwife...baby is still only 4/5 despite my efforts of walking and bouncing on the gym ball!! Blood pressure is up again I am covered in a rash and she doesn't know what it is! Plus...when I asked for an appointmant next week (when I'l be 40+2) they said there's no room left!!!! What am I meant to do? I've asked if a midwife can ring me back and sort something out cos i'm not happy about missing an appointment when I'll be past my due date and my blood pressure is high!

Really sorry for the rant..I'm probably over reacting. I know some of you have much more of a reason to complain.

awww sarah i would have a moan if i couldnt get an appt esp at that stage in your pregnancy - hope they sort something for you

as for signs i have had none either, some people dont though and just go straight into labour (thats what i keep telling myself)

I know...maybe we'll be the ones who don't have any signs until last minute.

I know I'll have my baby in about 3 weeks whatever happens and that doesn't sound so bad but it's hard to remember that sometimes.
