Th green diet was my fav, i loved eating baked potatoes and cheese and prawns, was awesome!
 
I think the green diet will work best for me as I dont eat much meat really. Only annoying thing is having to sit and work out what to eat each day and what is free food, healthy extras and the dreaded SYNS!! :?
 
aww youl soon pick it up, for lunch i used to have baked potatoe as a free food on the green, baled beans were free as well and had flora light as a syn and cheese as a healthy extra.
Milk is a heathy extra too, i used to have it in my tea and cereal.

It is easy you l get the hang of it andf after a week it will be nothing!
 
Hmm think it will take a bit of getting used to, have just worked out that I have had 12.5 syns already today :shock: I had a sandwich for lunch with salad which was free but each slice of bread is 4.5 syns as it wasnt wholemeal :( and my 1 little weetabix this morn was 3.5 syns :shock:
 
mmm...i just gotta tell you what i had for my dinner, it was lovely...i had a pitta bread (white though, i have a couple left) cut in half with Tesco reduced fat Hummus on and a stick of celery with it on, its well nice, has anyone tried it?
 
Havent tried it Rach but I dont like celery or hummus (sp?) :puke: I need to go shopping and buy some wholemeal stuff or I'm just going to mount up lots and lots of syns :roll:
I'm meeting with Carina for a walk tomorrow :cheer: then I have legs, bums and tums tomorrow night so will probably be in a bit of pain on Friday :? :hug:
 
No, i had a wholemeal pitta again with ham and tescos version of cream cheese - immy had some too and it was yummy.


Tell you what though i had a lovely breaskfast, but it was 9 points!

I had 2 slces of ww bread, slice of bacon, a low fat sausage, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and scrambled egg, was bloody lovely!

Well, I am still following my diet plan! Low carb one! For my breakfast I had leafy salad (baby leaf salad, 2 tomatoes and grilled bacon)

And for lunch I had the yummiest meal ever! 2 sausages, 2 eggs, and courgette, all fried together!

Cant believe what is allowed! I would never touch bacon before...I love it!

And now I am drinking my tea. Cant have sugar, so having earl grey with cinnamon and cream! Smell is fantastic! Taste-so-so. I just have to get used to drink my tea with no sugar.

I have a question to you, girls. What do you do with the food cravings when you are upset or pissed off? Yesterday I got really upset in GP's (long story) and i really felt like chocolate! Of corse, i didt have it, but it was sooooo hard not to! Before getting pregnant i used to smoke, but i dont want to anymore, even smell makes me sick, but it means, that there isnt anything i can have to cheer myself up. And cucumber doesnt really do the trick :wink:
 
If you fancy choc weight watchers do some choc which are low in cals carina and really yummy, i had some earlier and it was lush!

cant have any choc or anything what contains carbs :( im on the low carb diet. and low carb-means like no carbs at all! i cant even have an apple, cos i am allowed 20g of them and an apple contains 22g
 
are you under the doctors doing your diet? dont wanna pry so tell me to mind my own just that i would like to know a bit more about the diet your on.x
 
Rach-well....i am sort of under the doctors. What happened was, that I went to see my GP and told him about my diet (no carbs, approx 1400ckal per day + exercising) and asked if i additionally can have Xenical. Well, he gave it to me. But I have to go back every month for weigh in. So, I am sort of under the observation
But it wasnt him, who suggested this diet to me. It is my personal experience, that I loose weight more succsesfully if I cut the carbs out. Just in the past I couldnt stay on this diet for a long time. That is why i joined Tesco Diets and their low carb plan. They offer tonts of recipies and meal plans. I have been on their diet for 2 days now and it is starting to kick in, I think. Cos today is the day when I just NEED sugar and carbs! Cant believe, how addicted out bodies get to that stuff. But, it means it is working too.
The diet is very strict in terms of carbs. For the first 2 weeks you are allowed just 20g of them. And, for example an apple is 22g! Then you can have a bit more carbs, but not much more. And you continue like that till you reach your goal weight. Then you just mantain it. Then you are allowed carbs, but, obviosly in moderation.
 
I have felt like i had more evergy today and cravings not as bad as yesterday, youl get through it!!!
 
Carina...thanks for the explanation, things are a bit clearer now, i thought it was health related (but didnt want to ask)...these arbs do get a grip of you dont they, well today has been good again, i made my tea, again it consisted of a mixed salad, chicken..(i like chicken lol) and today i had bachelors packet rice with it and i couldnt eat it all! i think my stomach is shrinking..oh yer i was gonna ask you all...what time do you all stop eating? i like to have my tea all done and eaten well before 6, i still drink and if i am really hungry i will have a mullerlight but thats it, i am trying to stick to my rule of no solid food after 6pm...(lmao..i am just waiting to see how i go over a weekend!)
This thread is helping me ALOT too, you girls are keeping my mind straight.x
 
We have our tea at about 7-ish when we have put Maddison to bed. I'm thankful for this thread too :D Keeps me motivated :hug:

i weighed myself at my mums on sunday and i was 12st 6lb. my scales are weighing lighter so i have ditched them and gonna get some decent ones (it will confuse me if i weigh on mine) i want to get down to 10 and a half stone and a 10-12 dress size (if thats right for that weight) i hope i have lost a couple of pounds, what you hoping for?
 
Erm im a size 22 and i need to get back down to a size 14 again, thats at least 6 stone away but im going it half a stone at a time.
