Need a slimming buddy!PF Fat Fighters club:-)

What is you biggest downfall/temptation? and how do you overcome them. Mine is allowing myself one biscuit - then saying oooh just one more then feeling like sod it I have ruined it and eating four more :roll: :roll: but if I eat nothing nice I feel deprived too and end up giving up as well. I am so determined to lose weight and so I need to get over this obstacle - anyone have any idea how to stop at just one treat and not every day - I can do it on days I feel determined there is just a lot of days my determination slips a bit :(

Ditto! Im exactly the same. I just force myself into the mindset that I am not allowed the biscuits/chocs etc. I do allow myself to go off the rails every now and then. When I do go off the rails I dont feel guilty about it... feeling bad aboit it would make it harder to get back on track.

Having said that, Ive had a relaxed week so will probably put on at weigh in on monday. Ive had a very stressful week :(
 
Hmm, well i decided to have a blowouyt tonight as iam starting WW on monday, so i had chips, eggs and sauage and a twirl barl. Oh well, but tomorrow am having roast dinner and the chocs all gone now thank god.

Just a quick hello!

Well, after my boxing session on Friday my all upperbody hurts! I can feel muscles, which I even didnt know were there!!! But, that is a good thing! Will be doing (well, trying to do) boxing every Friday, so, hopefully "bye-bye" back fat! It just so blody hurts!

I have been mostly good....Apart from kit kat today.

But, tomorrow!!! :oops: :shock: :oops: :shock: :oops: My DH is having a birthday party, so I have been cooking all those yummy meals since yesterday (that is why just a quick hello) and i am just finishing his cake.... So, naughty day for me tomorrow. (Not too naughty, just "slice a cake" naughty :angel: )

That is exactly what happened to me before! I can be very very good on a diet, even on strictest one. Can go on for a few weeks having 800-1000 ckal a day of lean chicken, steamed veggies and apples...But THEN! I just think, "ok, ive been good, so I can probably have a McDonalds once" and basically that is the end of a diet :oops: :wall: :oops: So, this time, I will allow myself naughty days (sometimes), just the next day ill try to make up for it by eating very little and healthy and drinking loads of water.

Ive read, that food actually turns into fat (if you know what I mean) after 2 days. So, if you have a naughty day, foloowed by really strict one, you are even. So that is what I will try to do.

And...temtation...McDonalds!!! I just LOOOOOOOOOOOVEEEE it! And Indian.... I dont really have a sweet tooth, so I can survive without chocolate, but McDonalds.... :wall: :wall: :wall:

Good thing i cant drive to go and get one, but im having a roast dinner today yumm so kind of healthy.
 
Well today is my weigh in day, I decided to make it every Sunday. I wasnt expecting to have lost weight due to being naughty but I have....

It may only be 3lbs but it has really spurred me on and I feel so much more positive about being able to do it now :cheer: :cheer:

i am starting with a vengence today! I AM GOING TO LOSE WEIGHT! this is the day i start a new me, i have had enough! i had a talk with my dp last night and i got upset..he says he doesnt think i am fat (i am, he is just being nice) but he said i have put on some weight since i have had glenn (i know that!!) i asked him to be honest and tell me, so i am determined to get it started! i have decided on a friday as a weigh day as i think i did better on the sw then as i could have a treat on a friday night or a saturday night then back to it on the monday morning, good luck to everyone starting today and well done to all those that had a loss last week.x
 
Thats the spirit Rach :cheer: :cheer: I find once you get into that frame of mind there's nothing stopping you :wink: Good luck hun and remember to come on each night and give us some healthy eating tips/suggestions and let us know how its going each day :cheer:

I had a good day yesterday. Had my usual weetabix breakfast, had a turkey and sweet onion sandwich for lunch and a banana and had a chicken salad for tea which even hubby enjoyed! :D
 
I have just done 45 mins on my cross trainer in the garage with poor little Darragh watching me from his little rocker - hope he wasnt too bored - but I figure ill be better fun running around after with when Im fitter and slimmer. I am making salad for lunch - rocket, spinach, tomato, feta cheese and a dressing of 1 part olive oil to two parts white wine vinegar lots of black pepper and a tiny bit of salt - its yum!! and ill have fruit and yogurt after.

I am determined today :cheer:

It has taken me a few weeks to build up to that - I could only do 13 mins when I started and now I can just manage 45 although it nearly kills me :D
 
Been good again today, I put Moo-Moo in the sling and went for a big walk for a bit of exercise. I start womens circuits on Thurs night and slimming world tomorrow night :cheer:

Today I had my usual weetabix and banana for brekkie, salad for lunch and chicken casserole for tea. For naughtiness I had a mini Time Out at lunch too :lol:
 
well i have been good too! instead of nipping to Tesco in the car for a few bits, i put glenn in his pram and walked down to the local somerfields, its not too far but far enough to get a pant and sweat on, i had a really healthy tea too, large salad (mixed leaves) with boiled eggs, sliced chicken, it was lovely too! i grated carrot on it and sprinkled sweetcorn all over it..mmm...heres to tomorrow, i really am determined! i am going for another walk, dont know where though, i never know where to "just" walk.
i am munching on cherry tomatoes atm as i am a little peckish but i woud love to hear what everone just reaches for when the hunger pangs start.
 
Hi ya girlies, weight watchers was nice and the leader kathy was lovely and out me at ease instantly.

Completely different plan to slimming world, but im sure il get used to it - im going to read up on it tonight.

Went straight too sainsburys after the meet as its right next door! and got lots of root veg, spud and lean meat so that is my eating plan this week, with omlettes in the morning and wholemeal pittas with ham at lunch!

Tea tonight was a culture shock for me and very healthy, i had a WW chicken hot pot and oven roasted peppers with lemon cous cous. Was nice but i was like omg wheres my southern friend chicken!
