After alot of argueing with babies dad we have come to an agreement, just wanted to know what you lovely ladies thought. Ezimai Aerith Greenslade Handley. Ezimai is my own made up shortened version of Esmeralda and is pronounced Es ee may. Any comments appreciated. xXx

I love the name although when she gets to school writing her name is going to be challenge! I like Esemee (pronounced EZMAY) its always been on I like, its old school but trendy at the same time x

I don't like it personally, and as for the spelling i think that if you are going to make your own name up that you also need to spell it exactly how you want it to sound just to save baby frustration throughout life.

The spelling will actually be Ezziemai we want the name to have the z's in it as my name is zoe marie so it's a weird infusion of that based on the name esmeralda. x

i like it! i dont agree with spelling it how it sounds to be honest because its nice to be individual!

Plus my name is Cherelle which is i think is pronounced exactly the way its spelt cher - elle but i everyone always reads it as cheryl!! So no matter how you spell some names people will get them wrong.

Ive only ever met one other Cherelle in my life and i love having an unusual name! xx

Ezimai certainly looks more Japanese than Ezziemai, I think it was you who was looking into Japanese sounding names?

Ezzimai is very unusual and does sort of sounds Japanease, I guess how you got away with it with oh! - I have never heard of it before as you made it up, which is always a good thing when your older as Cherelle said, and if you have both agreed, then brilliant news Hun

We have decided to spell it Eziemai. She will be Eziemai Aerith Handley. My friend has stolen the name to use in her book, she did ask but I couldn't really say no as she was trying to be sweet. lol xXx

I must admit, it did put me in mind of Twilight characters Esme and Renesmee... it is a rather nice name though, and certainly unique! x

think the name and its spelling is different. u wont bang into any1 with the same name which for some is what they want

I think the way u spelling it is a bit weird and unusal but at the end of the day its ur child ur decision. Id stick to what im happy with to x
