Happy 1st of May!
Have visual issues but other then that a LOT better today so im very hopeful ill just get sent home for birth Weds
@SugaryIris feel free to kick off May 1st with your one tho! Me and the Girl had a discussion and decided this date is reserved for u, not us

So im now being induced today, natural birth attempt before c sec.
Something gone down in bloods again and apparently the amount of bp beds i need r very very high and with no effect its not good

Had midwife today, 40+1, she was going to do a sweep but baby wasn’t low enough so I guess they won’t be arriving any time soon.

my measurements haven’t changed since my 38 week appointment so I’ve got to go for a CTG on Sunday and growth scan on Monday. I just keep crying because I think something is going to go wrong at the last minute with my baby. I kept saying to dh the pregnancy was too good to be true and it was some kind of sick joke being played on us

Waiting for a c section as they put pessie in said we have to monitor for an hr incase baby freaks etc. It never happens but we have to.. can guess what happens. Within 20mns cervix had gone from 0-2cm i had contractions every contraction her heart rate plummeted to 60 etc. So they sed either break waters now and try natural but based on that not likely and then it would be a not nice c sec or a c sec thats calmer or nicer.
Fingers Crossed a very healthy baby comes out and im a mum by end day

Good luck @soffphie . My LO didnt like the pessary either, had to be monitored very close but was able to proceed without a c section. Fingers crossed your cuddling your little one now xx

Hey ladies baby was born 1/5/2020 11.47pm to a C Section
Shes wonderful but SUPER petite scans were wrong! She either stopped growing at 34 weeks or they were off from beginning

4lbs 12oz of baby. Pics later x

Congratulations! So glad she's with you safely! I've been coming on here every day to check for updates but presumed nobody had posted on this thread lately because the forum didn't give me notifications, so such a lovely surprise to see you finally have your little girl, so happy for you.
