May mummies and rainbows to be :)

The dark feeling is a bit ominous!! Probably best to get rid!

I really like this one
https://www.mamasandpapas.com/en-gb/moses-basket-welcome-to-the-world/p/770035000/

And Lisey don't worry about sounding like a fruit loop you haven't met me yet lol. I have had visions that have come true (honestly i saw something told 3 people and about an hour later it happened exactly like i said) and all three of us (me hubby and son) have now seen the ghost in my house. I inherited my "gift" from my auntie lol

I like that one too x it's between that one and one with pink bedding.
So glad you don't think I am mad. I am quite intuitive and get 'feelings' about thing that are quite often right xx

It was so freaky and now I am scared to have anything used, unless I know the person myself!! My aunt has had stuff happen in her house when she got something too, she still loves her charity shops though, hasn't put her off!! Xx

Im.a scientist at heart and my best logic brain it telling me my brain can interpret some quantum particles or energy. Coz those particles jump through time and space and things. But no totally believe. Im not bothered by most of my ghosts I've been seeing them since I was about 12 that I can remember but my cousin tells me I was seeing them from about 6. But I can't recall them! (Strange thing is I knew from this morning we'd have this convo today lol daft as it sounds)

Sounds like your family seems to get vibes off object's I find I get them more of people. Or I guess places to an extent.

Edit: gosh now I sound like the loon

lisey that's so weird! I had an experience once where the kettle kept boiling even after I switched it off at the mains it switched back on again in my old house and when I was in bed I always heard footsteps proper freaked me out. I constantly hear sounds upstairs in this house too even when there isn't anyone upstairs lol

Toys r us and jlp are good for prams

22nd Nov is your gender scan snowbee?

Yep :)

lisey that sounds creepy! I think most of our things will be preloved. My oh has had a meltdown this afternoon about money, he is really stressed about how much everything is going to cost. He is a worrier by nature and anything slightly different he stresses about.

Holy poop I just clicked on the mamas and papas website, is a basket really that expensive?! The sale price is ok but the full price did make my eyes water a bit. How long do they sleep in those for?

Shame there is nothing remotely nearby on the market site.

Ery, you don't sound like a loon, some people are just tuned into things more. I agree, some are scary and some aren't. I have had other experiences where I don't feel threatened at all.
Nikki, that sounds scary!
Snowbee, it is daunting, I was thinking about everything we have to buy the other day and couldn't quite believe it as new things kept popping into my head. Luckily his parents are buying pushchair and my Mum is buying moses basket and some other bits a pieces. I am going to buy as I go along now so its not such a bulk amount in one go.
This is a very expensive baby as it is, she cost us £8000!! but worth every single penny. I am in a bit of a panic about having to buy a new car though as its another big expense.

So we ordered the moses basket I wanted, thanks so much for the heads up Rachel. I saw it the other day and loved it so its just perfect and amazing to get 50% off xx

Snowbee, mamas and papas are quite expensive to begin with, you can get cheaper. I would say you could get one for around 40ish. You buy the stand separately though. I think they can sleep in it until 5 months ish? Depends on their size to begin with. My son was 9lb at birth and was a chunky monkey, he was in his until around 4 months I think xx

The plain white one seems a reasonable buy, do all the fabric bits detach for washing? I was wondering if I could detach them and dye them a pretty colour...

Yes, they will detach so that you can wash them xx

Updatedd the front with your scan date hun x

snowbee my oh is the same I go with the flow but he stresses about everything especially money! I've said after Xmas we can try and buy one big thing a month

Yes I'm going to try and spread the cost as much as possible. Otherwise I'm worried about leaving it a bit late and then having to have a massive list and bill to match at the end!

I may be wrong but I'm sort of thinking my parents and sister may well want to buy us something. It will be grandchild number one and my sister is unlikely to have children but she loves babies and will want to get something for us I'm sure. So that will ease the pressure a little.

We are the other way around, I am better with money, more cautious and OH not so good!! I think its how he was brought up, from what I gather they didn't struggle. When I was younger, I really valued my pocket money and gifts etc as we didn't have loads of money to play with.
I am not worried about it though, we will work around it. When I had my son, I had practically nothing but got by just fine. I can budget pretty well though. I think some men do panic as they feel a certain amount of responsibility, like it falls on them to provide xx

I am sure they will, they won't be able to help themselves xx
