May have changed my mind!! At 36 weeks!

Hi,

Had decided on Sophie Elizabeth for baby... Now since royal baby I'm a bit put off and considering Sophie Mai (or Spelt May) what do you think? Sophie Elizabeth or Mai?

In all honesty, my 2 have middle names, but they don't get used! I prefer Sophie Elizabeth, but that's cos I don't like Mai/Mae/May.

I love Mae, it's my daughters middle name ☺. I wouldn't be put off with Elizabeth though, it's not like you are calling her Charlotte.

I think either are lovely and wouldn't be put off by Elizabeth. Just depends on what you feel is right x

Same I really like both, but if you had your heart set on Sophie Elizabeth don't be put off by the royals, though Sophie Mae does have a really lovely ring to it xx

Could understand if you were planning on 'Charlotte Elizabeth' but I wouldn't be put off Sophie Elizabeth just due to the royal baby - our little boys middle name will be George (nothing to do with the little prince) xxx

Yeah you're right... Was silly to be put off, I still like it, but now Sophie May is in the mix I like that too! Just confused myself lol x thanks for replies x

Why not use all three? Sophie Elizabeth May? Our daughter only has one middle name, but our son has two.

I always had Charlotte as one of my girl names but since I wont be having one for the foreseeable I can keep it ha. My nana was a Charlotte.

I think go with what suits, personally I think Sophie Elizabeth is a bit more unusual, I feel like every girl born these days has a mai may or mae.

Have also thrown Sophie Alice into the mix lol!! Less than three weeks til due date... Changing mind daily but least we have first name
