My family is also massive.

My mum is 1 of 6, also, my dad is 1 of 6. All their brothers and sister all have children, and some of them have children of their own too!
And I have two half sisters and they have children too...
My OH's family are big too, his mum is 1 of 6 and his dad is 1 of 4...

I've just invited family who I am physically close to.
Causes too mcuh arguments otherwise!!!
My aunty declined my wedding invitation this morning to my wedding in July. purely because I wouldnt have her daughters as bridesmaids.. Hello!? Weddings are expensive, hence why I'm not having any!!!

i ahve been with my oh for 24 years now not realy arsed about marriage we have our kids together there is no better commitment in my eyes than having children together i could change my name to his and no one would ever know we wernt married and tbh school calls me mrs boyes anyways lol we are engaged tho lol xx

We got married abroad 15 of us not all family could make it. But wouldnt change it. Really recomend it. Was a stress free day had a 15min meetin with a the planner n that was it xx

I'd have been happy to TTC before marriage, or not get married at all, but PorkPie felt strongly that marriage is first. In fact the day after he explained what marriage meant to him I went from someone who'd never get married to wanting to marry him NOW!

Most our friends with kids aren't married...most our married friends don't have kids (although the baby boom is starting now)

Me and Dj have been together 7 years and we got engaged a few years ago but not set a date yet we are thinking about doing a vegas wedding as we arent that fussed about marraige and wanna have a fun one if we have one but like carnat said, when your living with someone youv been with for a while and you have a baby on the way thats a big enough commitment lol. Babies are for life. In kim kardashians case marraige could last 72 days lol xxxx

We've talked about getting married and will at some point but all savings going to ttc and doing that first cos oh has now hit the big 40! I'd like to have the money to be able to take a fair bit of time off work if the bfp ever does happen!

We've been together for over 8 yrs now.

I'd like to get married, it will be a very small affair. Possibly just us and the kids. My mum would kill me I was never bothered before AJ came along. We couldnt get any more committed but I now feel its the right time.
AJ is also at an age now where he knows mammy and daddy arent married and knows mammy has a different name to him and daddy, its not the bee all and end all but it matters to me.
