I met my OH at the end of March 2010, got engaged 6 months later, he moved in with me in Jan 2011 and we got married on 19th June 2011 - 15 months after we 1st met!! It was a whirlwind romance lol. Before I met my OH I had no intention or interest in getting married - then he swept me off my feet and I can honestly say I've never been happier We have been TTC since February this year.

Been with OH 7 years living together 6 married 2 years.

I have a friend who says 'i don't agree with marriage its a certificate and a ring blah blah.... but if I had a wedding it would be like this....' If she doesn't agree with weddings and thinks there nothing why does she have a day planned out on the beach just her on OH and little girl, if i didnt agree with something i wouldnt even think about it never mind bloody plan the day.

Anyway i have always wanted to be married i think it cuts out so much drama in a strange way im not longer worried where we are going because we are there ifykwim, however i dont think getting married before kids is a big deal it just happened that way for us, we had a lot of close calls! We got married young because his mum had heart attack and my mum almost needed a lung transplant so we wanted to do the day with everyone there as a nice memory. Both our parents are fine now btw xx

We "dated" while at uni for a while but because of complicated circumstances he married someone else - but in the end he saw the error of his way and found me and now we could not be happier!

I have never really be bothered about marriage but then he asked and just seemed right and so we got married. We did not want the big shindig and so off we went to Antigua and was the best way for us!

We went all out for our wedding and we are still paying for it now but looking back I wouldn't change a thing. Certainly was the best day of our lives and our friends and family enjoyed it just as much as we did.

my husbands and my family came to 259 in total so we went to Spain and got married, Sooooo much cheaper 60 people came it was amazing, we didn't want the big white wedding at home, it was perfect for us

Together for 10 years and almost 3 months, married almost 3 months ago on our 10 year anni, was engaged for 3 years to the today too!! So 5th Mar 02, 09 and 12. I was 24 weeks pregnant when we got married but arranged the wedding day 2 weeks before my BFP!! Xx
