March 2021 testing thread

10 but they are one steps. The one step does look faintly pink but I would expect a FRER to show something too. I know it’s too early really in all honesty I just like to check x
The frer might not be showing anything because its not fmu. Xx

I think it’s just because one steps and the other cheap one I used aren’t good :rotfl: I’ve changed my testing date to Sunday although I’ll defo be testing tomorrow I’ll just use a cheapie again x

I was hoping to see a faint line today. I was hoping the brown discharge with a bit of blood on 6dpo was implantation :confused: and then today there would a vvf line....but completely blank :rotfl:
:2ww:

What a rollercoaster! Fx for tomorrow.

Update from me. Bought Poundland tests. They are very small and thin as @Lulinka said.

Stark white, not even an evap. I don't get usually evaps anyway. Oh well at least released some pressure. 8 dpo today.

Honestly @Charlotte9 i am really annoyed I bought the one steps they are not great!

I am trying to be positive no spotting no signs of AF but if no BFP this month I will be missing out on my LH & FSH test on Tuesday as I need to be CD3 x

Ugh @Mrsbridge17, How frustrating! I love that you're as bad as me - I'll wait.. the very next post is, I tested! :lol:

I found FRER awful, do you have any clearblue early? I know it's blue dye, but honestly - I found them much more reliable, and no - not sponsored by those either. :lol:

How long have you been trying this time? @RainbowMama @flowerbomb @Mrsbridge17
@Summertime

This is my 18th cycle. <3

@Charlotte9 since November 2018.

@RainbowMama no I don’t have any. I have found FRER can have some pretty promising looking evap lines but the trick is if it’s blank after 10 mins pop it in the bin and defo don’t open them up they dry mega fast! I also don’t care if blue or pink dye I genuinely don’t see the difference as evaps can be just as convincing on a pink x

They're going to start investigating why I'm miscarrying and hopefully, I'll get answers about this blood clotting disorder I may have - which could be causing the miscarriages. <3

I think they can give you injections for this as soon as BFP if you have it. A lady in my last due in group had something that sounds similar do you take aspirin?

After the betas last time, the consultant said I'd start aspirin at the 6 weeks appointment and after a successful ultrasound. It's kind of been diagnosed, but not if that makes sense. So I'm hoping to find out one way or another whether I do actually have it (I was almost diagnosed before my last successful pregnancy) and didn't need to take aspirin or any injectable blood thinners for that pregnancy.. and basically have tests to identify why I am repeatedly miscarrying again. :(

Get better advice around aspirin as I’ve heard it used in ttc can be very beneficial x

When I saw that really obnoxious fertility specialist in 2015, she said it can be beneficial but it could also 'hinder implantation'. I've not done any research into it though but I also thought aspirin in the two week wait helped with blood supply etc - making implantation more successful x

Exactly! I find it so interesting how advice varies within different trusts.

I’ve made a very big decision this afternoon. If it doesn’t work this time. I need the time to think on it but I don’t think we will try again after this cycle. It hasn’t worked out so far with 3 mc since nov 18.

I’d love to have investigations as I strongly believe I need metformin but I am also not mystic Meg and when I need my AF for testing it doesn’t look like it’s going to arrive! Not in time at least anyway. I just feel like I’m wasting so much time with all the opks and trying to time BD when we both can’t really be arsed to BD just feels like it’s not the right thing anymore x
