March 2021 testing thread

Oh my goodness me yes I bet if the littlest is almost walking! The 3rd will just fall right into place though <3 be lovely!

I saw your other post about stopping bf my periods returned within 2 months of stopping feeding but I literally just took her off and did not touch them for like a week. It was strangely not at all uncomfortable to stop it just dried up and that was that x

I definitely must say though going from 1 to 2 was much harder than none to 1. what did you think? I'm hoping 2 to 3 doesn't finish us off! There were about 8 weeks at the beginning when she was cluster feeding like mad and not sleeping more than 40 mins that we were looking at each other like "what have we done?!" and trying to make our toddler feel loved and not abandoned although she accepted her new sister amazingly well hahahah a far cry from my eldest though who slept through the night solidly from 10 weeks old and before that woke 4 hourly.

My husband really wants a boy now, he loves his girls and wouldn't change them but he just wants a mini-me. I've repeatedly said there's no guarantee..but we want a third baby either way so ill let him dream hahaha

That's interesting about the bfing, I had a nightmare with low supply and had to really work to build and sustain it, and now I don't want it anymore I can't get rid of it! Typical xx

My hubby says he wants another girl but it’s me that’s desperate for a little boy lol! Feel your pain my first totally tricked me into a false sense of security sleep wise if my youngest was first there would be no #2 or 3 lol!

I was the opposite with bf had to pump exclusively for 6 weeks as she was a 5lber and I couldn’t get the latch right. In the early days I felt like a dairy HV said I’d never keep it up so I did it just to prove him wrong lol! By the time we stopped she was obviously very ready as she was nursing less and less so perhaps the girls just knew it was time to retire lol!

It's one thing they don't talk about enough - that breastfeeding isn't always a case of being hard for a few weeks and then you get it sorted etc. We did 8 months of pure struggle every single day, every single feed. We had to start 1 bottle of formula a day too because she just had continued weight gain and it took her ages to start to gain again. She was born 7lbs 7oz and dropped below 6lbs before the formula and even then I ended up on about 2-3 bottles per day because sometimes I'd be in so much pain during a feed I just couldn't continue and I'd have to get my husband to give her a bottle while I cried in a corner somewhere!!

I actually don't mind if we have another girl. To be honest I've never really given it much thought. I'd always said to my husband I'd like at least one girl, but never really felt any particular way about having a boy or not. I got my one girl plus got another one as a bonus so really this next baby can be any gender in my eyes and I'll be delighted but I know my husband will be a bit disappointed xx

I know they definitely don’t talk about it enough at all honestly not sure if I would ever BF again!

I’d be happy with either sex really but a boy would be nice just to complete our little family. The girls are proper daddy’s girls so I want a mommy’s boy lol! Xx

My little one was born in March 2018 :)

So if lucky enough to get pregnant again in next few months going to be a 4 year gap and have a 4 year gap between oldest and youngest currently! My husband is keen to move past the baby years which is why it’s taken me so long to convince him about a potential 3rd!

No way lots of 2018 babies in here!

Husbands hey who would have em :rotfl: I have absolutely no idea how I’ve convinced mine to agree!

I would love a girl with already having 2 boys, but at least if its a boy I've got loads of stuff already :rotfl:

Took another hpt test this morning. Its positive again, but faint. I'm thinking if it went down from 32 Saturday 6th to 20 Saturday 13th then thats about 2 levels a day, so hopefully by the end of next week it'll be 0 :pray::pray::pray:
Then I can track ovulation

Aww
ooooh flowerbomb - I was in the July 2018 thread too with you! My girl was born in August in the end as they changed my due date to 5th aug.

It seems like there are lots of us here ttc #3! what a gang haha xx
Aww we probably chatted and supported each other then.

@Mrsbridge17 ah yes see I have two total mummys girls haha my husband is gutted. I actually relate to that so much, I don't know if I would either!!

@Summertime aww I'm glad he has come round. I just need to convince my husband to have #4. I mean, we are going to have to buy a 7 seater. Would be rude not to fill the seats :P

@Clarkecharm totally, I felt that way completely. I always said to my husband that if we have 4 kids and they're all boys but 1 girl I'm happy. I just wanted ONE girl at least. I've been lucky to get two <3

@flowerbomb hahaha same gender is so economic isn't it? We realised that we basically had enough clothes to dress twins, maybe even triplets with my first daughter so my 2nd has had brand new clothes with tags on that weren't even worn by my first and shes 8 months old and Ive not had to buy her anything. Of course Ive picked up a few bits and pieces cuz...it would be illegal not to :P We definitely chatted back then, I remember your name! Also I'm a bit lost cuz ive just come to things, you got a positive hpt??? xx

That does sound confusing. That sounds like maybe implantation bleeding??! Although I'm so long out of the loop I'm not sure if the timing is right, maybe some of the other ladies might advise.

With both my girls I had a much lighter brown bleed before I got my bfp.

Also your hormone levels fluctuate which might explain the positive then negative. Also although many get best results with first morning urine, some also get don't and find it's more accurate to test later in the day after a hold. xx

That is confusing have you tried posting this in the am I pregnant forum rather than trying to conceive? More people will look at it in there
