March 2021 testing thread

@Mrsbridge17
Id definitely report them to Ofsted. We are changing nursery too as I don't like the current one. They were asking us to pay full amount while they were shut during covid. Once they opened again I did not want to go back there.

@Mrsbridge17 wow! That's a fab peak, todays BD should deffo cover you!!
Hows your little girls mouth today?
Yes deffo report it to ofsted.

I did a clear blue this morning and it was a blank circle, so that confirms yesterday was Ovulation day. Will do another opk later to check the line is lighter.

Got a BD in last night and a cheeky one this morning whilst little man is at pre school :D

Its a very strong peak! Will today or tomorrow be your ovulation day with having a positive yesterday also?
It does only take one and todays BD should cover you whether today or tomorrow is ovulation day xx

I really don’t know! I wish I had taken a picture of yesterday’s too. I am not sure if you can get a peak like that and be ovulating the same day x

When you are using ovulation prediction kits (or devices that measure luteinizing hormone), you can usually expect ovulation to occur the day after your first positive result. This is because (LH) luteinizing hormone, the hormone measured by OPKs and the hormone responsible for triggering the rupture of the ovarian sac, typically surges the day before ovulation. In some cases, however, you will see ovulation on the same day as the positive result. There are a few factors that can help explain how this happens.

Just read this I’m going to take today as ovulation day I think. Meaning I’ll start testing on 20th which is hubby’s birthday eeekk x

@Mrsbridge17 reading that I would take todays as ovulation day too. Well today's BD should deffo cover you.

Eeek that would be amazing to get a BFP on hubby's birthday!! I'm going to try and wait till the 24th to test. I'm actually scared to test because of the MC. Xx

Yeah we did last night, and hopefully we will tonight.

Yay to bleeding finally stopping.
I've got bad cramps too, 3rd day of it too. I had a feeling it meant ovulation was coming and that was confirmed yesterday.

I was told at the hospital when they were checking my HCG that you can't ovulate whilst there's still HCG in your system, but I think it is possible after what I've read since if you have a low amount. Just go with the signs your body is giving you and BD anyway to make sure you're covered for if you are.

TTC is all about that, listening to your body and I am confident I have ovulated. I'm glad I'm not the only one with days of cramps, this is my third day now. The cramps stopped a few hours ago but my right ovary is SO tender.

I think that my body is trying to get me pregnant, I have been insatiable for the past few days. We've had sex 6 times in about 30 hours.

Yay to being in the 2 week wait with a few of us here! <3

Im in two minds this month a BFP would obviously be absolutely amazing but at the same time I can have my tests done if I don’t get BFP.

Rainbow I’ll pop you on page 1 x

Looks like we all are testing next week?

@Mrsbridge17
I thought ov happens 12-36 hours after a surge? When do you start counting as 1 dpo?

I got peak on Tuesday with clearblue and my first positive on easy@home yesterday so counting today as ovulation to be on the safe side I am having a lot of right sided cramping today too. Xx

Sorry if I have missed anything I’ll have a little read later. Amelia has been in hospital today there was an incident at nursery where another child pushed her over and she had bitten through her cheek and it needed stitching. There were some other issues with nursery as I wasn’t notified straight away and first aid not sufficient for the injury so I’ve been dealing with that. Doubt I’ll get a BD in this evening I am absolutely wiped out I’ll try my best though lol!

How are you guys doing? X
Oh my god. I’d go absolutely ape shit if that happened to Emmie! That’s terrible I’m so sorry Amelia (and you) had to go through that! I reported the first nursery we sent Emmie to to ofstead as she had been playing in the sandpit at 1 year old and they hadn’t changed her nappy properly... sand everywhere, rubbed her red raw poor baby. I went mental and the nursery manager tried to tell me she had nappy rash that morning! Safe to say she’s not the manager there anymore. It’s so hard when you trust people to look after your children and they just don’t! X
