March 2021 testing thread

I'm glad you quit, stress is a big player in TTC!

I don’t think it’ll make any difference for me health wise. Just my marriage and my kids. My husband is really miserable half the time because I don’t get 5 minutes to do bits here and there and his boss gives him a hard time at work he comes home and expects the house gleaming it’s never any different from when he left really but he has bad ocd so really makes a big deal about things. Surprised I put up with him really x

That's not great to hear, maybe you could hire a cleaner twice a week? It sounds like he has high expectations and that must be awful, I am so glad Lewis is different, that said I wish he'd help out more! I am disabled and I struggle, a LOT with just normal chores. x

Honestly I think our house would out shine mrs hinch haha! Except I won’t spend ridiculous amounts of money on cleaning products x

Totally understand that! We're trying to decorate the hall and I'm so fed up with pieces of wallpaper on the floor - Argh, driving me crazy! x

What is vegemite? I like marmite lol!

I quit my job today :rotfl: properly had enough of the place so decided to jump! X
Vegemite is very similar to marmite. But marmite gives me pelvic pain. Vegemite doesnt you see.

Best feeling in the world that, taking leap of faith. I have 4 family members with ocd it can. E a nightmare xx

We had a decorator in for ours when we could, Still looks crap think stevie wonder painted it instead! We were having the whole house done, but cancelled after hall stairs and landing and the conservatory as I’ll have to rectify what he has done it’s just patchy really not good! We are replacing the kitchen too have just placed the order so have hired our neighbour to do it as he is very good at what he does. You live you learn hey! X

I've just found BLACK MOULD.

Urgh! I'm going to clean it tonight and bleach it. Either someones papered over it then painted over that, or it was deep in there before it was papered then painted.. Either way, not great. Could explain my asthma flare too, so it definitely needs addressing.

We're doing this ourselves, although I do think it might be easier to hire a professional!

Ohhhh that’s unusual you would think they were the same wouldn’t you! At least you don’t miss out on the marmitey goodness full of folate that is!

I had to jump. I can’t keep being in such a negative environment especially when that environment is currently sat at my dining table with no end in sight. We aren’t in debt or anything anymore and can afford our new kitchen without me working although I’ve another self employed job I will be doing more of now I’ve quit so hopefully it works out!

The OCD is really really ruling our lives at the moment he literally has an antibacterial wipe in his hand ready for if anyone touches a lightswitch or cupboard handle even though he’s watched us wash our hands 20 seconds earlier it’s really really bad! Just got to ride this pandemic out as he’s really worried about us getting covid again as Amelia and I were really poorly with it x

@Mrsbridge17 aww its horrible to be in a job you hate, sounds like you've made the right decision xx
I think im the more OCD one at mine, I do OHs head in, although I'm not as bad as your hubby sounds :rotfl: xx

My easy@home opks arrived today so this evening I thought I'd do a test even though I know its way to early but I wanted to see if there was a line difference between easy@home and one steps. The easy@home had a test line and the one steps test line was barely visible. Easy@home are definitely better

Ive thought about locking him in the shed many times @flowerbomb :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I think he thought I was dying when I had covid and it’s scared him x

Aww bless him. Its a horrible virus.

Hahathink we've all had that thought about the shed :rotfl::rotfl:

Oh wow that's a big decision MrsBridge, I'm happy for you though if it means getting a load of stress off your shoulders. Sounds like your partner is really struggling at the moment especially with the pandemic and it must have been so scary when you and Amelia were ill :(

My husband runs the housekeeping of a decent sized hotel normally so while he is furloughed he's been cleaning and you'd think we are getting inspected at any given moment as it's always immaculate and our bedrooms look all turned out hotel-style haha it's wonderful I must say as I've been drowning in uni work. He's also been taking care of all the laundry for weeks now however does need the odd hand with colours as he's colour blind. Between that and the fact he used to be a chef so cooks amazing dishes, I could marry him all over again at the moment as I really needed the help or I'd never have gotten through all my thick and fast deadlines that all hit at once.

He saw this forum on my laptop today and asked me if I was pregnant and had I been hiding it from him...(just for the record he definitely knows about ttc) but he thought with it being called "PREGNANCY forum" that it meant I was pregnant now and hadn't told him...imagine just not telling him hahaha

Hey ladies! Just a quick update, had some pain in my lower left abdomen today. Decided to take an opt just in case and it came back .2 so nope! Hopefully it was implantation pain!

Also how do you know it's .2 if you don't mind me asking? Is that the premom app? x
