After reading the previous posts...

Kathryn, we sound very alike! I also have a son who is 3 in October. I also had a miscarriage on the 24th of March, I was 9 weeks pregnant. I am super super early so I'm keeping everything crossed!

I’m sorry for your loss - we are very alike, I miscarried the day after you. I was almost 12 weeks but baby died at 10 weeks. Getting so worried at every little thing but I keep telling myself I can’t change the outcome and just hoping for better luck this time!

I just wondered (I know it's super early!) But has anyone done one of those early scan things? I believe with nhs scan, my husband can't join me? If so, when is best to book it for to definitely see a heartbeat if there is one? Around what week of pregnancy?

Also we are in a 14 day isolation as someone from our church tested positive for covid. So I have a lot of time on my hands right now! You can imagine I'm googling all sorts

We’ve booked an early scan but it’s not until next month when I’ll be 9 weeks (hopefully). Couldn’t get an appointment any earlier. Annoyingly the clinic we used last time has closed down and it’s not as easy to get appointments now.

I had a scan at seven weeks and saw a heartbeat then I'd say around eight is probably better though if you can wait that long as you'll be able to see more.

I'm trying to wait until 8 weeks, which will be another 4 weeks time as long as all goes ok!

Kathryn, our baby bonds scan closed down too! We will have to go elsewhere. But I found one on groupon for £39 so will give them a try. I remember I paid £129 for my sons one!

I'm in London, although I got an email today saying its incorrect and our isolation is now over I was dreading the next two weeks as it would have been so drawn out if we were in isolation. Atleast now I can get out and about and keep myself distracted.

Hi I’m ok thanks, getting a bit anxious as have an early scan next week. Had my booking in appointment with a midwife on Friday so should get my 12w scan date soon. How are you?

Glad your ok yes I completely understand as I felt exactly the same and when I went they could just see oregnancy sack they think I was a week behind so got another one on the 11th and the my 12 week dating scan on the 28th. Have you been having many symptoms? Xxx

Thought it was a bit weird when I had my booking in appointment over the phone and I asked about blood tests etc and was told they would be done at the scan. Then had a call from another midwife who said the last one made a mistake and didn’t book me in for tests!

Which makes sense as otherwise they have no proof I’m actually pregnant, only my word! what a mess!

Funny we both have a scan on the same day, countdown is on!!

I had my bloods done before my booking appointment. Atleast they sorted it out now and you have got to have bloods done. What day is yours the 28th aswell ? How funny? Let me know how you get on. I have had a bit of tummy ache tonight and my boobs are so sore, everytime I change my 7 months old nappy she kicks in the boobs my life the worse pain . Xxx

Yes it definitely is! Got a private scan on 11th then had a letter through today to say my 12w scan is a week later - I ovulated late though so fairly sure that will have to be rebooked as I’ll only be about 10 weeks!

That was like me kathryn85. I am sure at 10 weeks they will be able to see hun you may not have to re book. I am looking forward to seeing baby but this time around I'm so nervous and worried I dont think I felt this worried in my first pregnancy xx

I am hoping they will rebook me so I get another scan! As I am so anxious I just want extra scans for peace of mind!

Had booking in appt and blood tests etc.

Got private scan booked for 11th to put my mind at rest theres something in there!

And 12 week scan on 24th
