*****March 2019 Mummies*****

Thank you everyone,

Feeling much better today, bleeding is just light spotting now which is reassuring and the Nasuea is back with a vengeance so strangely that feels good that baby is ok. Just been taking it easy and have friends staying thus weekend which will take my mind of things until the scan on Monday.

I am 6 weeks today!!

How is everybody else getting on? I am going to watch the tennis and try and not be sick!

Glad you’re feeling better flipper!!

I think my date must be wrong as I think I’m 6+2 today but we’re due the same date. I’ve worked mine out wrong! Will figure it out later lol.

I had my first midwife appointment today, just filled in forms and she gave me vitamins and the ready steady baby book etc. I’ve booked an early scan too for 26th when I’ll be around 8 weeks x

Glad you're feeling better flipper.

exciting you have a scan booked rainbow.
Private early scans down here are £89, we can't justify that at the moment as our garden is in the middle of being done and constantly needs more £ chucked at it so this weekend I'll be making myself scarce so DH & FIL can carry on with it.

Hayz, that's cute but I imagine highly annoying after a while  atleast if you lost something you have a good first place to look for it! Haha

I've not got any sickness (I didn't have any last pregnancy either) and my nipples aren't sensitive one bit (which they were last time), I suppose there's still time for that to happen but it worries me I've no symptoms other than bloating and wind. That's one of the reasons I took another test, to see the line get darker so I know it's ok going in the right direction. I won't buy anymore now though.

Thanks summergutl, it only cost me £39 here. Not sure I could justify paying £89 either. Seems like a big chunk of money!

I’ve not really got many symptoms either, my boobs are sore on and off, I’m not nauseous or sick, but I do have aversions to things I’d usually like. I was exactly like this when I was pregnant with my daughter. I hardly ate chicken the whole time when usually it’s one of my favourites. I don’t think symptoms mean very much, in my experience anyway x

Ladies, I've just gone to the loo and noticed a light pinkish discharge when I wipe.

This can't be implantion bleeding this far along can it? I'm now 23dpo
I've just read sex can cause it (we dtd this morning?
I've also got a few little sharp pains down there.

Now I'm worried sick. I've been stressed out the last few days with a really stressful day today.

I've read light pink is fine but I still can't help but worry.

Maybe ring the early pregnancy unit, they’re 24hour x

I don't have the number for them and the site for epu for where I am says that the gp will refer me. Which obviously can't happen now a second they're closed until Monday :(

I think light pink can be pretty normal, and dtd can irritate the cervix and cause that. Try not to panic. Could you phone nhs 24 for advice? X

I think light pink is ok too. And the sharp pains are very normal too I think, like stabby needles in cervix?

Thanks ladies.
I've managed to calm myself down. Ive been a couple of times since and there was a little brown discharge. Dh has calmed me down too so I'll see how it goes tomorrow and if any more then I'll give someone a call.

I have been googling the hell out of it and I'm sure it's down to dtd this morning.

Xxx

Summer girl, you poor thing. I think it is same as I had yesterday. It is irritation of the cervix which can be caused by all sorts of things.

Hope it stops by tomorrow xx

Summergurl I hope everything’s settled down for you now. Seeing blood is always scary. My last pregnancy my placenta had a little tail on it that reached right down to the cervix so I bled quite a few times in early pregnancy. Luckily as I grew it got further away. I was petrified of doing anything in case I triggered another bleed.

I am so ridiculously tired. Had a good nights sleep then had a lay in and tbh could have quite happily stayed there if I wasn’t so hungry. I need to get moving and get things done today but I’m so drained.

How’s everyone else doing?

How are you, Summer?

Exhausted again, full nights sleep and a lay in followed by a bowl of cereal that made me feel sick, now I'm on the sofa wrapped in OH's dressing gown watching Gotham!

I feel absolutely fine today. I guess it’s quite early though to have a lot of symptoms? That’s what I keep telling myself anyway. I’m only 4+5

I must be the odd one out that isn't tired! I had 4 hours last night because of feeling uncomfortable in the heat and I can't even nap to catch up, I'm too awake.

Akua, I think it's really common for symptoms to come and go at this stage, I think I'm a couple of days behind you?

I'm not sure if it's just me, I can't see my name in the list on the first post?

Hi mirror fish, I'm so sorry I completely forgot to add you yesterday, but you are now on there. Congrats.

I am ok today ladies. A little more light pink/brown when I wiped this morning and a few sharp cramps but this afternoon all has stopped. I'll be avoiding sex for a while that's for sure, unlucky DH  I can't be doing with the worry if that has what's caused it.

Hayz, Sparkymum how are you both feeling now?

Akua glad you are feeling good. Hope it continues for you. Although if you're like the majority of us you'll want the symptoms for reassurance lol

Summergurl glad you’re feeling better. I’ve not had the guts to dtd yet. I managed to get out this morning and get a new stair gate but once home went to bed for 2 hours. Still really uncomfortable right up under my diaphragm. Just had dinner and now back upstairs for another lie down. I’m being really pathetic at the moment.

Akua I hardly had any symptoms at this point in my last pregnancy. I think most of my tiredness comes from the IVF medication. I wish it would just do one now though. My first 2 natural pregnancies 1 has no symptoms until 6 months, then the wind caught up with me lol.

summergurl glad things have stopped now and thanks for adding me to the list :) I've been getting those sharp cramps too on and off they're a bit scary!

They are aren't they. But everything I'm reading tells me it's fairly normal and common.

I have also just worked out the silly dr receptionist has booked me in for my booking in app on week 9, do you think I should ring on Monday and try and get it changed?

Hayz you're not being pathetic at all, you're growing a mini human!
