Xenforo Cloud upgraded our forum to XenForo version 2.3.4. This update has created styling issues to our current templates. Well yesterday wasnt great and Im not feeling good today either. During pregnancy I suffer from really bad trapped wind (sorry tmi). Yesterday it started at 3pm and Ive still got it today. Then came the headache and hot flushes. I managed to meditate myself to sleep but it wasnt a great night. Im so tired and uncomfortable. Peppermint tea helps to shift some of it but makes me so hot its unbearable. Also doesnt get it all 
Im hoping itll ease up as I move around. At least its a bit cooler again today.

Got my bfp - 5 days early today! I’ve had a cold and then back ache yesterday made me suspicious as I had horrendous back ache for a week after I had a bfp with my son (he’s only 13 months, eek!). Really hope back ache doesn’t get as bad as last time. Weird that symptoms have been so early this time.
Due date is 22 March based on last period date.
Keeping fingers crossed this bean sticks
Scared to tell parents so going to wait, as we were talking about work last week and I said who knows might be pregnant in a few months and my dad said I hope not - Thomas needs so much attention you’ll be pulling your hair out!!!!

Ah hayz this tiredness is so draining isn't it. Do you like peppermint tea cold? I used to just down it in one when it got cold because I found too that it helps with bloating etc.

Don't worry about your DS, yes he will need attention but he will soon adapt. They are such clever mini humans (even if he will test your patience and push his luck from time to time
) but I imagine they'll all go through it no matter what age as it's a big adjustment for them too. I too have horrendous lower back ache, I've read it's normal but I will speak to the mw when I get an appt.
I am 5 weeks today and I am an emotional wreck this morning. I've already cried 3 times since DD got me up at 6am. It's going to be one of those days, I can already tell lol

I wouldn’t worry re the back ache - I went to the hospital last time as I was in so much pain and then it totally went within week and I had no other symptoms. So hoping it’s just the same. There is spd but hopefully it’s just the ligaments relaxing at this stage and will rectify soon.
I’ve called in sick again. Felt awful yesterday and still feel rough so thought I wouldn’t push myself to go in. Work is also a nightmare as I’ve been back 3 weeks and already a director has made inappropriate comments to me about my return, so all the partners have got involved and I think they think I’m avoiding work! One of them even texted me yesterday. Don’t need the stress. Really not looking forward to telling them I pregnant again!

There’s a few of us due 10th March. I know what you mean about waiting for the 12 week scan. We’re IVF this time so get one at 6 weeks and another at 8 weeks so I’ve not got too much of a wait. The bad news is that those early scans are internal ones which are lovely...not!

So yours is next week your 6 week scan? I am so tempted to book a private scan but even then I have to wait a couple weeks. Have you had any pains or anything? I’ve had the usual cramping but today I got a couple sharp pains they seem to have disappeared now but my heart was in my throat when I got them
Yeah, a 6 week scan to see how many and if they’re in the right place, an 8 week scan to see a heartbeat before being discharged to the NHS. You really don’t see much but it’s kind of comforting. I probably wouldn’t bother paying for one but it’s in with my cycle fees. As for pains, omg. Dodgy feeling tummy for the last 24 hours, severe trapped wind, hip pain and general joint pain and the occasional headache. Every pregnancy symptom I had with my last I’ve already had with this one. Most of them last time turned up after 6 months!
Ooh how lovely. Yes I have been wondering if it’s worth the cost my local one is £90. I’ve not had miscarriage before but that doesn’t mean anything I don’t think.
I hardly had any symptoms in my other pregnancies so thinking this one will be the one I get it all. I just don’t like the worrying niggles. Trying to remain positive though . Hope your scan goes well xx

I popped into the docs today and got my booking in appt booked for the 7th August.
Can't come quick enough. I don't think I could persuaded DH to pay out for a private scan

Found a private 8 week scan in Doncaster for £60. Cheapest I've seen near me, if anyone wants the link let me know.

When Im a bit further along I want to book one for my birthday in late August, just before we go down to see my parents and family in Cornwall. Im now worried of reaction from parents! So would like a bit of reassurance from a scan beforehand, As dont think Ill get a scan until September. So far awayyyyyy!!
Although my parents said they might come up and visit before then and I wont be able to not tell them if I see them!

Was just thinking, I was near the beginning of the month for my other group for my son (we’re all on fb now and still message, it’s really lovely)

I work for the police in the control room.
You never know you may be one of the lucky ones that gets a scan date just before their 12 week mark!
I cannot wait for that letter telling me when it is. I'm trying to plan a family get together to tell them all at the same time but can't set the date until I get that letter.
How long is it roughly after the booking in appt until you get the letter with your date?

I’m the opposite selly! I was near the end of the group I was in for my daughter and actually ended up the only one to have their baby in the next month lol. This time I’m quite near the beginning woohoo! X

Good to know it comes fairly quickly. I can't really remember how soon after mine came last time.
Oh on another note my surgery doesn't need you to see the dr first, just straight to the midwife. How odd that all different counties etc do it differently.

Hi everyone and welcome new mummies to be.
I have been a hormonal and tired mess this week. Work is busy and I just cant wait til end of term. We are off to Ireland tomorrow night without the boys to a wedding; for 3 nights! Looking forward to a nice relax but not watching everyone get drunk! I can be smug without a hangover though 😊
Had my docstors apt Tuesday, was literally 3 mins. Have midwife on August 9th ( I think) as on hols for two weeks. Hope I get the scan date through ASAP after midwife so its still in my school hols 🤞
