*****March 2019 Mummies*****

I think the person who decided on the name morning sickness was male!
I’m struggling with the nausea at the moment
It’s constant, there’s no let up :-(
I’m 8+2 and its really gone up this week. Been sick a few times but it’s just constant feeling sick :-(
Also have a bit of an adversion to chicken and anything chicken flavoured

Aw no Frankenstein!

U poor thing! I'm dreading it, I actually don't know what I would do if I went off chicken .

Feeling a bit weird today girls. Boobs have been super sore today but this evening I've had really bad low back pain and a little bit of bleeding when I wiped. Back pain feel like what I get when I'm on my period .
Gonna see how I go overnight bit might ring midwife in the morning. We don't have our scan for another week and a bit, do stressful

How many weeks are you, Vic?
Unless it's heavy red blood it's relatively normal.
I've had back and abdomen cramps since 4DPO!

We think 5 weeks tomorrow. It's just awful when it's your first cos you don't know what to expect and what's normal! I also don't want to go on like a hypochondriac or a drama queen and ring the midwives every time!

I think I'm just paranoid as our wee bean gave us a fright last week :(

I've had back pain too since about 7dpo.

Is your blood red or just pink/brown?
Can be normal if the later but you'll still always worry xx

It was only a little and was pink/brown so hopefully okay. I'm just a worried by nature!
Weirdly my back has settled down when I ate some food (I hadn't eaten since lunch) but I've no idea why that would be connected haha!

Hi August! I'm 4+6 (I think) and also my first preg! Don't worry also emotional over here! Had some cramping and clots last week and rang the midwife who gave me a fright by sending me to EPAU for a scan (we thought I was 6+5 at that point) and I had a meltdown at work! 🙈.

Oh u poor thing, I haven't had that. I have nearly been sick 2 mornings running on the drive to work though which is fun haha!x

Hi VicS15 yes it is emotional! I keep having random symptoms like cramps and I start worrying a bit then they vanish and I feel really tired, then I get really excited about it all! I have also noticed I can’t sit with my legs crossed at meetings at work cos it’s uncomfortable. I hope the nausea passes for you, that’s got to be distracting! x

Akua I’m sorry you’ve had this worry and I’m glad you are feeling more positive. I have everything crossed for you, and for all of us xx

I feel your pain, I'm only 6+1 but my nausea is constant too. I'm developing aversions by the hour it seems! DH cooked some chicken noodles last night and I had to leave the room. I'm so worried I'm going to end up with hyperemesis again. Nausea/sickness is supposed to be a good sign but it really does take away from a lot of the happiness etc about being pregnant when it's constant and you feel like you can't eat or do anything.

Oh no mirror, I've read about hyperemesis it sounds awful! Hopefully not u poor thing!

Update girls: back pain had eased right off but I put the frightners on me as it was so similar to the pain I get with my period. To settle my brain (which hardly slept a wink!) I did a PT this morning. BFP within about 20 secs so that made me feel better!
6th Aug seems so far away for this early scan. I've resigned myself to the fact I will be sleep deprived and anxious from now until bean gets here (in fact probs the rest of my life now haha!).

I started with nausea around the 5 week mark only when I ate though but now at 8 weeks it’s really ramped up I’m struggling and most foods make me nauseous :-(
I’ve been at home this week as thankfully I’m a teacher and I have 6 weeks off bringing me nicely into tri2

I have a travelling holiday booked on August 16th thankfully it’s in my car but I’m hoping this nausea has passed by then, I don’t want it to ruin the taste of French macaroons haha
That’s another thing, everything tastes different! I had a pack of wheat crunchies the other day and they just weren’t worth eating! Lol
Currently laid in bed, feeling like I need to puke, :-(
This better pass!

I feel like the worst mum ever at the moment.

The tiredness has hit me a little harder these last couple of days and I feel like I haven't spent anytime playing with my DD (23 months). Yesterday I dozed on the sofa in the afternoon for 50mins whilst she happily played and this morning I'm a write off too. Just generally tired. I'm feeling so guilty :(

Anybody else the same?

Aw you're not at all! Like u said she was happily playing! Your cooking a human so your totally allowed to rest!
Mine is mid morning and late afternoon it hits me! Unfortunately at work so have to power through although the plinth in my assessment room is pretty inviting!:)

Cut yourself a little slack! Growing a baby is hard work!xxxx

It sure is tiring work. I've been on the go all day today out and about with her. She's had a fabulous time so in a minute once she's finished her tea I'm going to lay on the sofa and let her destroy the place  and then I'll wake up in the morning feeling like the worst mum again

I keep getting bursts of motivation.
I lay on the sofa dying for 3 days then the next I'm full of beans.
Annoying, can't plan anything lol

Funny you should say about not be able to cross your legs I found I couldn’t close mine when I got in car this morning 😩 I’ve blew up so much since finding out I’m carrying twins !

Something a bit fun, in case I’m not the only one behind with the times! Did you know there was an app that you can download, both you and your partner, and it’s like tinder for baby names! Any names you both swipe right on get matched and added to your list!

We’ve already picked names!! But going to try later for fun! It’s called “babyname” xxx

Omg Selly that sounds ace! Definitely need that for girls names!! Thanks x

We’ve just downloaded it - we’re wondering if it’s an American app though as some of them are a bit out there?

Plus I think we’re shooting ourselves in the foot as we’re matching on ones that are definite no’s just to make each other laugh. Unless he’s just saying it’s a joke, but deep down wants a baby Colin

Haha!! Do it! Colin!

Ooh, not actually tried yet. Came home and OH said but why we’ve picked our names. So I gave him evil stare and said because IT WILL BE FUN. He then agreed!

I think my grumpy side is coming out!!

Had a lunch with work today and sipped less than half a glass of wine but should have even bothered as we then went to a rooftop bar and I ordered a sparkling water. I think suspicions are there now. Oh well!!

Seeing everyone on the cocktails and dying in this heat is not making me a happy lady!!! Xxx
