Hi everyone, I just wanted to pop my head up and say hi, it was my OTD today and I now have a scan booked in two weeks. It seems like ages to wait at the moment. I have been really busy with work stuff and its actually been quite nice to have a break from all the emotions Im feeling. Im a little overwhelmed at the moment at how fast this has all happened for me. Im only 4&2 today and this is all new to me with it being the first time Ive been pregnant. I might actually wind up being due in April, just have to wait and see. I have a new symptom though (which I hope none of you have!) its like motion sickness when I stand up after sitting down, and takes a while to pass. Not nice at all but still, very worth putting up with. 😂 x
Morning ladies, I'm 4+6 today and it feels like it's all going really slowly.
I spent most of yesterday dodging questions about being broody and wanting the next one which was awkward!
Feeling a bit meh today, don't have many symptoms and don't really feel very pregnant which I know is completely normal. My boobs still hurt which is something.
I made a maternity bra last night and my boobs are happy for the first time in about 3 weeks

Hi Chase,
It's really odd I find, all I really have to go on is a BFP test. I don't really feel pregnant either and all the possible early signs I keep thinking, "am I just over analysing to convince myself". I just want a scan so I have actual evidence.
I'm 5+3 today and other than being really bloated, and having permanent bullet nipples that occasionally hurt (sorry if tmi) - I have no symptoms.
It does feel like every day drags so slowly.
xx
My scan showed a fetal pole and a yolk sac but they couldnt see a heartbeat. It might just be too early, or it might be bad news. I have another scan in a fortnight.
I might take a step back from the forum for a little while

Aw Akua,
Fingers and toes crossed it's too early. Big hugs. I know it's stupid to say but try and stay positive. We're thinking of you x
Hopefully it's just a little too early.
Oh my lovely, I will keep everything crossed that it was just too early for you. Understand if you want to take a little step back but we are all here for support if you need us xx

Thanks ladies. Im actually feeling a lot more positive about it this afternoon.
A) Im a lot more symptomatic than in any of my previous pregnancies
B) last time I got to 12+1 but on scan they could only see an empty sac. This time theres a fetal pole and a yolk sac
C) Before my last mc, my cycles were 39-40 days long. This time I got my bfp on day 28 and I have no idea when I ovulated. So its highly likely my dates are a bit wrong anyway
And d) the fetal pole was only 2mm, and seeing a heartbeat when its that small must be nearly impossible as the heart is only a small size in comparison to the rest of the baby. So surely Id be unlikely to see something less than a mm anyway considering theres enough layers of me in between?!
So after an initial meltdown Im feeling weirdly quite positive this afternoon.
13 days to go til the next scan and then Ill know for sure
